Even taking into account arsenal's losses to fulham,stoke hull & villa the amount of games the big 4 lose to any one other than the other big 3 is very small indeed have a look at the stats a very small percentage per season from the 152 games they play each season.

kinda what i meant, i thought we played ok in the second half and the first 10/15.

Results against the Arse, ManYoo, Chelsea and the'Dippers don't usually mean a thing. We'll probably get beat. It's the performance against this lot that matters. This season we've done ok in spells against them all, but got soddus maximus. At the same time, we've not yet had a good hiding.

It's still the performances against crap like Fulham, West Brom and t'Dingles that rankle.

Basically, yesterday's game plan was:

 

11 v 11: we'll get murdered. Nullify their best player and we've more chance with the other 10 v 10.
