December 22, 200817 yr no as mandaric said when talking about fryatt wanting a new contract and negotiating terms his agent points out he's scored 20 odd goals this season mandaric points out he scored 3 last season

Big call to make a step up 2 leagues at age 26.
December 22, 200817 yr if youre looking at lower league strikers then jermaine beckford would be a better bet than t'other 2.

Spend the money on Ctr back and Midfield. IMO
December 22, 200817 yr LAMBERT AT BRISTOL ROVERS - SCORED 19 THIS SEASON, A BIT OLDER AT 26 . Well it's made SSN so you never know. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11719_4681837,00.html
December 22, 200817 yr Neither would start a game and are probably not as good as Smolarek. Spend the money on Ctr back and Midfield. IMO Right on, Rattie ! If an international striker can't get in our team (for whatever reason), then an unproven lower league striker definitely wouldn't. Would be a waste of money when other positions need strengthening or cover. But then if any of out first-team players are about to head over the moors, who knows ...........
December 23, 200817 yr i saw fryatt when he played for walsall decent player and england under 21 player scored for them a few times ide have here
December 24, 200817 yr http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ity/7798032.stm He lacks ambition.
December 24, 200817 yr Lambert is a journeyman lower division striker who is having his 15 minutes of fame with a great first half to the season. The fact he has never even been looked at by a top 2 division team by now and he is 26 - says all you need to know. As Ratboy says, if Smolarek can't get more than 10 minutes here and there - then what the fcuk do we want to waste a few million on a lower league striker for?
December 24, 200817 yr Talking of Rochdale, they have a young striker who looks capable of playing at a higher level - Le Fondre. He's quite small and skillful so you'd expect him to struggle a bit at that carthorse standard but he scored about 17 league goals last season in about 25 starts. Got 10 or so this season I think. He's 21/22 and would be cheap as chips methinks. Anyone else seen him play? Think Leicester nearly signed him in the summer...

Decent enough finisher, but not even in the class of someone like David Nugent

Scored some belters at County, including Sky's goal of he season wih that overhead kick. In fairness, I bet he ain't far off 50 career goals

He ain't a bad player at that standard, but as long as you've got a hole in your ars? he won't be playing Premiership footy. FACT with bells on....
