Kahn a good fighter fast and athletic, but his glass chin will cost him again. This defeat will be end of Amir Kahn wont recover from another loss this early in his fight career

He's got a contract with Don King, and ambitions to be first Mexican to win a world title at 4 weights. No reason for him to take the money and dive.

I think a lot of the stick Amir gets is unfair, he is still very young, talented and can achieve a lot in his career.

 

What he expects to achieve from this fight is something I can't answer. At least Hatton rose through the ranks and won a world title before he started exhibition boxing. To me thats exactly what this is, exhibition boxing.

Khans people learned their lesson when they picked on a Columbian who was too good and put Khan in to la la land. Unless Warren has lost his love for money he won't want that happening again. So based on that I expect Khan will win. Loose lips!

he knows as good as barrera is, its quite a step up for someone his size and barrera hasn't got a big punch..

It actually made him get off his ars?, and go to America to train with Freddie Roach - not some Cuban bargain basement fella - and I think it served as a wake up call. It might even be the making of him.

 

Barrera is an all time great but he's seemingly past it, he's moving up in weight (surefire sign he can't stomach the training any more), and he has looked like the fire's gone out a bit in recent years.

 

It's a shrewd call by Warren. If Khan gets destroyed then he was never going to cut it anyway.

Very astute matchmaking by Frank Warren. A couple of people have mentioned the fact that Barrera is stepping up in weight to fight Khan and that will be the big difference in my eyes. Barrera has never been a big puncher and as weak as Khan's chin is I don't think he will have the power to knock him out.

 

Khan is a very big and powerful lightweight and very quick for his weight. Those three things combined will tip it in his favour I think.

 

This will give him the boost he needs for an American audience.

 

I hope I'm wrong mind, and he gets the living f*ck knocked out of him.

 

A legend like Barrera shouldn't have a defeat to Khan on his CV.
