Not that bothered but for the time Shearer cheated us to get a free kick on the edge of the box when he made Jussi keep hold of the ball whilst the ref wasn't looking, for Ketspia kicking that advertising hoarding and the amount of steps up to the away end at SJP - fuck them.

I'd love to see Newcastle go. If only to prove :

 

- There is no "right" to stay in the Premier League

- You can't buy a Premier League club and play with it like a toy, acting as a spoilt brat who fires anyone who isn't God's gift to football

- Premier league no easy ride and our own success is staying there as long as we have. Long may it continue

- We should respect what a great job our own ownership / management / players do to keep up competing in what is one of the toughest leagues in the world.

 

And then I want Newcastle to realise that getting into the Premier League is not easy either as most players worth keeping will go and it's the like of Kev Nolan who will lead them out of the Championship and not the money grabbing show ponies.

These guys are more deluded than I thought, only keegan and shearer are capable of managing the club, they think they are going to piss the championship cause they have the best fans in the world. Praise be, I've been hoping for that for a while.

 

Football fans are all the same whatever point of the compass you come from. Generally when your winning your brilliant and when you're losing or relegated your rubbish. That is a generalisation of football fans and dare I say it I and we are just the same.

 

The difference in Newcastle's case is one of delussion. The fans were very quiet at Villa today, until utd scored. they didn't show anything of that unique toon spirit. They and the media think they are special and I don't know why. This arrogance as a club is spectacular. They will have massive financial problems next year. I would imagine for example that nolan is on about 30k a week on a 3yr contract and he's not one of the highest earners, unsustainable in division two.

 

Oh I could go on and probably have, but I will afford a few giggles at their expense this summer.

 

It put our achievement into perspective by comparing the money spent there in the last 8-10 yrs.
