Looks like he could be retiring from test cricket!

Jesus Christ, why ?!

He will be remembered for the Ashes in 2005 and the partying afterwards that went on for 4 years.

He's done nowt 2005 - hardly be missed will he?

Jesus Christ, why ?!

I guess he wants to keep free of injury, so he can ensure his full participation in future IPL series

Sooner he and that big time Charlie, Pietersen get out of our team the better.

I don't know why you would want Pietersen out of the team, he would walk into any other team in the world, or are you just tying to be sensational?

or to put it another way, who would you replace Pietersen with?

Seems the team play better without him, stats since 2005.

what miserable life you must lead.

I took it to be trying to controversial.

i took it to being a knob

I took it to be trying to controversial.

He might have a point though

Pieterson doesn't give a shite about anybody other than himself.

If the team need him to dig in and stick aroung all day, you can bet your arse he'll be out swinging like a good 'un.

look, and this shouldn't need spelling out

those figures take no account of the opposition

Why should Pieterson changed the way he plays because the rest of the team continually fail?

Why should Pieterson changed the way he plays because the rest of the team continually fail?

because he got out for 70/80 when ponting went on and made 150.

he was nt the the only one but it aint the first time trying to bring his 100 up by hitting a 6 ?

pieterson should be in the team becuase he is our best batsman, but he does not maximise his potential, in the first innings he could have just picked off runs all day instead he gave it away.

in your line of work if you constsantly turn over a profit that is good but if every time you offer odds on next goal scorer and get it wrong would nt you try and improve that ? if he wants to be world class he has to score more.

Because it's a team game?

If Bolton were hanging on to a lead and Jussi decides in the last minute he quite fancies scoring a goal and fooks off up front, we wouldn't be too pleased would we?

That's the thing, no matter if he "plays for himself" or "plays for the team" he is still the best batsman we have. I'm not sure that he'll ever change his mindset, but he still needs to be selected when ever he's available

maybe hes not as good as ponting?

though, granted, the stats for them both at this stage of their career would suggest he's way in front despite playing for an inferior team

Not if he's not delivering runs.

depends if he scores

and that isn't as daft as it sounds

for every 'daft' dismissal, theres another day when he's taken the game back to the opposition

and slightly off the point, piss meself whenever gower has a pop

if we're talking apparent lack of application, he wrote the book

Not if he's not delivering runs.

he is!

he is!

2nd innings?

8? That's pish - especially in the context of the game
