jonathan Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 (edited) Does anyone have any info on how bad it is? He has been withdrawn from the England Under-21's and replaced by jack wilshire. Hopefully he will play against Sunderland at the weekend as he looks in tip top form at the moment Edited August 10, 2009 by jonathan
YATESY Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 Its the Vaz Te jinx. A player who didn't impress in the previous season, has a good summer and pre-season but gets injured before he's able to show his true worth.
jonathan Posted August 10, 2009 Author Posted August 10, 2009 i don't thinks its that bad. muamba played the whole game on saturday. its prob just a strain or a knock of some kind. if he was that badly injured then, being a friendly, megson would have withdrawn him straight away. hopefully there is nothing too serious
BdubFC Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 it cant be that bad or he would be listed hear http://www.physioroom.com/news/english_pre...njury_table.php

Guest Holly_Goodhead Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 I would prefer Mark Davies in the team so can't say i'm bothered if Muamba is fit for Sunderland or not. Having said that Meggo would probably play safe and replace Muamba with another workhorse like McCann or Basham.

So presumably you didn't see the game Saturday - or any of the England U-21 games
Guest Holly_Goodhead Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 So presumably you didn't see the game Saturday - or any of the England U-21 games Yes i did watch our flairfree midfield create nothing at home to a Championship standard side on Saturday. And i also watched England get hammered 4-0 against Germany's kids.

So you would have heard or read Stuart Pearce + Sky pundits saying Muamba was one of England's bets players in the whole tournament. And the fact that our midfield is flairless is not entirely down to Muamba. The biggest difference for Fabrice this season won't be him, it will be the influence of Davis.
Drew Peacock Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 With a bit of luck, he will make a mistake early on Saturday, and you will be able to get on his back. Ah- Sod it - I can't be arsed having a battle of wits with an unarmed man.
