Wolves 2 Bolton 3
QPR can't keep this up against the top clubs. Wigan's next three fixtures could be the killer for them. As always, it's about us picking up the points, 3 wins should do it.

Wolves 2 Bolton 3
It's rare I'd praise a OC sub but SKD was a magnificent change. Klasnic was lazy and SKD was brilliant when he came on, changed the game.

Gary Speed Has Died
Telegraph article confirms how he died, I don't particularly want to type it out myself. Don't read this if your of a sensitive nature. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/8918628/Wales-boss-Gary-Speed-found-dead.html

Gary Speed Has Died
Football Association of Wales have just announced it. No details on cause of death yet. EDIT: Dan Roan of BBC News has just said that the FAW have confirmed that he took his own life.

Wigan 1 Bolton 3
N'Gog has hardly played 90 mins in the last year, he was probably knackered

Wigan 1 Bolton 3
Wheater was outstanding as was Eagles, really impressive, Pratley does get caught out of position at times but he'll learn Other than the miss, SKD looked better than recent times. N'Gog looks promising. Boyata is a great prospect. Robbo wasn't great again but Petrov was shocking, he shirked tackles and generally produced little.

Bolton 1 Chelsea 5
I found the HT sub odd, Gretar was to blame for the first goal but Robbo was far worse.

Stu Holden
It makes you wonder about so called "experts" and why this wasn't picked up before? Massive blow for us, this season has disaster written all over it

Liverpool 3 Wanderers 1
Don't like Scousers but I'm behind them on the Hillsborough thing, even if the truth is that the fans were at fault, they deserve to hear it.

Liverpool 3 Wanderers 1
Yeh, I'd be delighted with Boyata and Cahill. I didn't see Macc game as I was at work, however, he didn't play with Cahill. When Wheater has played before Weds he's looked good IMO.

Liverpool 3 Wanderers 1
Apparently. I can only post this in here. Zat Knight costs us too many goals and in my opinion is a weak link. I feel Wheater should have been given a chance.
-
Knight
OK, I'll make it a general thread about Knight, he does cost us goals. I don't get why Wheater hasn't been given a chance. He can't be much worse.
-
Knight
Costs us goal after goal AND gives the ball away. I've lost patience with him now. He's played a part in conceding all 3 goals today.

Would It Be Fair To Drop Klasnic?
OK, he doesn't have any. I got blasted yesterday when I suggested that he didn't offer much outside the box and possibly playing 3 in midfield may have helped. (This was before he scored)
-
Would It Be Fair To Drop Klasnic?
At times we need someone with pace upfront, Klasnic doesn't have much. If Klasnic doesn't score a goal he doesn't offer much however he is scoring so it's OK.

Wanderers 2 Arabian Nights of Man City 3
Jussi was awful on the 1st 2nd was just a great strike, he wasn't on the edge of the box so I can forgive not closing him down 3rd goal was purely down to Knight, he cost us a goal yet again We did quite well overall, Cahill was great, Reo Coker did well. Petrov played well, less impressed with Eagles and for me Klasnic doesn't do enough outside the box although inside it he is awesome. He is the closest player to McGinlay we've had since the great man left.

If You Could Go Back To Burnden
Wolves for me but Spurs, Chelsea, Swindon and Arsenal in Cup come close In terms of a normal league game, Swindon 7-0 in 96/97
-
Transfer Targets
Chelsea are signing Lukaku from Anderlecht subject to a medical. I still dont think he will return but it might help us with Sturridge
-
Lainton
Was at Hereford and was impressed by him, he actually talked to the defence. He didn't have a lot to do but the most impressive thing is that he can kick straight and far which is somewhat of a novelty. Anyone seen much of him?
-
Preseason.
York is down as a reserve fixture, would have done a first team one there Hereford and Bradford (so far) for me plus any home fixture

Trotters 2 Gunners 1
For me Davies was great for the whole game, worked so hard in the 2nd half Defence was great, Robbo had Walcott in his pocket after the first 10 mins. Cahill and Knight great. Lee worked so hard too
