Came away disappointed today but not because of the performance of the lads. They worked hard today and must have been gutted not to get anything from the game. Thought the sending off was harsh and it gave Gerrard more freedom that he hadn't had in the first half. Better performances from Knight and Sean Davies and thought Cohen had a very good game.

It annoys me that players as talented as Torres and Gerrard have to resort to diving and in Gerrards case whinging to the ref about almost everything.Just get on with the game soft lads.

Asked some scouse lads on the train what the black armbands were for and even they didn't know. Maybe they wore them because it was a Saturday!!

just watched it on sky-same opinion as at match,a terrible decision by willey and it should have been a pen for pulling kd down

same as always big club/little club syndrone

Yes, Bolton worked tirelessly hard. Yes, Bolton chased, presssured, hassled and closed down.

But they didnt really deserve anything from the game.

Apart from the goals i counted Taylors free kick (injury time first half) as about the only thing Reina had to do.

Sending off. Davis had a poor challenge before the first yellow not cautioned and one after his first yellow not cautioned. Both yellows were yellows - simple. Two yellows make a red.

Bolton twice took the lead against the run of play and were a goal ahead when Davis went. It was backs against the wall after that and they worked hard.

But Liverpool bossed the game from start to finish and in the end won much more easily than the scoreline suggests. In injury time alone Liverpool should have had a couple more.

Bolton did not have a single chance in the second half.

If this game had not been against a top four side then there would not be a hard luck story slant on it. We deserved nothing and got nothing but did work very very hard. Hard work alone does not mean that you deserve something from the match.

Lets just see what reaction there is from the players and management against Portsmouth in the next game as i would imagine that it will be a bottom 2 clash.

Defeat should be the end for Megson.

Also in the programme there were 'in memorium' tributes to Derrick Warburton, ex Vice President, and John Deady who was a 'great friend of the club.'

Didn't know that so no disrespect meant.

The first booking was absolute garbage; cheating team, cheating ref.

Just seen the MOTD coverage and it was absolute bollox as usual. The lads were superb today, and the game as a whole was thoroughly entertaining. We could have(should have)come away with a point at least but once again we were robbed by a gutless ref and a top team full of diving cheating players. After the last two weeks i was expecting the worst, but came away head held high knowing the lads put in a good shift.Sod the result,at the end of the day i thought we played really well and definitely deserved something from the game.Well done to all the team and manager for a spirited performance and i hope that ref gets the nastiest case of piles ever recorded!

Well, what a cock you are! I'm guessing your one of the posters that thrives in BWFC performing badly and not getting results. At the end of the day, we were expected to get fuck all from todays game and more than get likely get battered. But we actually looked pretty decent and matched them in most departments today. Yes, they passed it around there defenders, but got fucking nowhere, but until we had the ridiculous sending off i honestly thought we could have got a draw today if it was 11v11 for the full 90 mins.

Yes, we got 0 points today, and have got 0 points from our first 3 games, but it has been an improvement, and we have to get behind our team! It's people like you that really get on my tits and if you don't have anything to say, dont fucking say it.

Having seen MotD, and calmed down a bit about Wiley, just a few more thoughts ......

Davis shouldn't have got his 2nd yellow - sure it was a free kick, but it wasn't an intentional trip. His 1st yellow was petty & harsh for something not given 9 times out of 10.

Liverpool's 1st & 3rd goals came from half-cleared corners because we have no-one on the edge of the box for this happening - a tactical masterstroke that was pointed out as faulty last season.

Hard work & closing down & harrying & exploiting dead-ball situations can only get you so far. We exploited Liverpool's known weaknesses in central defence today, but we won't get much joy out of that against most lower-table teams; we need more craft and more threat from open play.

Wolves V Hull looked like two relegation teams ..... but we have to finish above them and one other.

I'm less worried about 0 points from 3 games than I am about our lack of threat up front and our major reliance on Plan-A (hoof it up front).

2.5 days and counting.

First live BWFC game of the season down here. Enjoyed the performance. Getting back to where we need to be.

Not surprised to see Mr. Cee back. He must be creaming himself at zero points after three games. From what I saw yesterday, it won't be zero points for long. Hoping for a last minute signing to lift the mood.

You're a penis.

Even Liverpool fans have admitted we deserved more. It comes to something when I respect the opinion of a filthy fucking scouser above a fellow Bolton "fan". but you are such a cunt.

We were fucking robbed today and beneath your downtrodden exterior even you know this.

Please just fuck off to Ole Trafford if you hate BWFC so much, you'll be more than welcome.

That is because Megson's lack of tactical ability allowed it to.

Remember Wigan away a few days after Megson/Gartside conceded the Uefa Cup tie in Lisbon

Wigan had a player sent off at 0-0 but still pissed all over us.No negativity from those in the Wigan dug out after the sending off.

Absolutely irrelevant.

Megson was spot on yesterday. Man marking Gerrard took him right out of the game.

Only Alan Wiley is to blame for the defeat.

The reason it change the game is that Davis was keeping Gerrard quite.
