Money for a decent striker or attacking midfielder, one or two in on loan. I'll stake the dog's dinner on it. Then again, we've not had the 'Joey O'Brien is like having a new player in the squad' line yet, so maybe just the one.

Rufus whatever his name is gets banned for getting too personal , but others are allowed to abuse him willy nilly mainly because he is a not a Megson supporter. I think our fans are getting a bit tetchy because of transfer 'policy' of our club & given the obvious limited budget the way the money has been spent .ie on unnecesssry fullbacks Hope something happens on the transfer front but I wont be holding my breath, even Nobby coming back is now a positive.

I'd say he set himself up to be mocked with the "I answer to no one" bollocks. I bet he's shit scared of his missus. It's fuck all to do with liking/disliking Megson. Though, there's not liking Megson (FTR I think he's not reet good but he's never shit in my bed or pulled out in front of me at a junction though) & there's just being silly with some of the stuff folk say on here & other forums. Come on, it's early days yet - there's loads of time to sign some top notch players - after all Smolarek didn't sign until right at the death last year and Rasiak signed at the death in January 2008 Plenty of scope for optimism yet :D
