No question about it really.

 

He went from us in the 3rd Division to play in the top league for 12 years with Coventry.

 

The only other player I can think of who left us and jumped two divisions and was a regular player in the top division was Don McAllister - a far superior player than Allardyce - but who is seldom if ever mentioned on our forums at all.
