Casino Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 Cas, it boring now. Move on. sorry as you were in view of the sunday kick off, live on sky and high prices, i wasn't actually surprised it wasn't a bad effort and i suspect it was more than would've turned out if GM was still manager how much of hat is novelty, we'll hace to wait and see
Guest Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 Muamba can tackle, in fact that's one of his strong points, he's no Hierro granted but he's a good sitter McCann is a joke, he's way past PL standard and hopefully he doesn't feature too much from now on. As for Taylor, woeful finishing but I think he needs a couple of good games and a goal to get his confidence back Had a better game than Dowd
snowball Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 Cas, it boring now. Move on. I'm glad someone else thinks so! Bigger crowd than there would have been under Megson and better atmosphere. Onwards and upwards.
Casino Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 i hope coyle has noticed taylor cant last 30mins...shoots from 25 yards when he was one on one...shows his legs have gone. mccan is the better passer than muamba but muamba is far better at defending Stenisson played them onside far to often... our crossing was poor today aswell..in keepers hand most of the match taylor runs the furthest of all our players
Werder barmen Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 (edited) why is RickyG playing in the centre...i miss his left wing runs.. him and lee on wings would be far more effective in my opinion has he said he wants to play centre mid now or something? taylor runs the furthest of all our players he should calm down abit then so he can last the full game Edited January 17, 2010 by Werder barmen
Smiffs Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 mccan is the better passer than muamba but muamba is far better at defending Do you mean 3 foot passes to the nearest man, like those I could do wearing Brixtons high heels, or ones like that embarrassing cross field 'hoof' late on that was so far from it's intended target it actually made me laugh loudly. The ball is still sailing down the A6, it was that bad. I'm sure he's a nice bloke and 'puts in a shift' but he's shit.
Casino Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 I'm glad someone else thinks so! Bigger crowd than there would have been under Megson and better atmosphere. Onwards and upwards. aye, posting the same repetitive shite gets boring i'm glad you've twigged at last onwards and ermmm onwards
Guest Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 taylor runs the furthest of all our players slowly!
Didledee Posted January 17, 2010 Author Posted January 17, 2010 (edited) Why did Dowd not book Eastmond for that foul on the outstanding Lee?[he wouldn't look outta place in the Arsenal side] Why did we not get a freekick in the box for that blatent back pass Rosicky red card? If Robinson and Taylor linked like Lee and Steinsson we would of got more joy i think, Maybe Coyle will look at Samuel and Gardner in the future. Edited January 17, 2010 by DidledeeBwfc
Garrp Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 I would have said we had bigger issues on the left then the right, many a time Robinson was nowhere to be seen and it was Taylor filling in for him. bigger issue than costing us goals? btw, im no fan of robinson, all 4 of our fullbacks are weak
bwfcol Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 Someone next to me made a good point today, no Meggo's gone, who are the whingers going to target? Looks like it's a hard working individual who is in a poor run of form who Megson signed. I don't think any of the starting XI did much wrong, mistakes were made but they always will be, we looked far more solid than previous games and it was only the presence of a world class player in the opposistion team and some poor finishing from us that lost us the game.
Guest Frandsen08 Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 He wasn't as bad as Steinson again absolute bollocks. steninson was one of the better players today. matt taylor today was fuckin shite! im not sayin u are but ther are certain fans who are stuck in an Matt taylor aura who cant call a spade a spade,i know when to give credits due and when to say someone is shit, and matt taylor was shit today he honestly looked liked he was tryin too hard but lackin confidence. but IMO he hasnt played well all season and needs to be dropped to get a kick up the arse.

MickyD Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 I think McCann has mixed up his football rulebook and his rugby rulebook. Dear Gavin, you CAN pass the ball forwards!
Ani Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 taylor was poor today, but got into 3 very good scoring opportunites, maybe he needs a goal to lift him ? muamba imo was breaking their play up well, i think he is ok. i think we should have kept tamir cohen on.

Smiffs Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 Matt Taylor is a good player who just had a stinker today. Gavin McCann might as well have stayed sat on the bench when Muamba came off.
Guest bwfcdan Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 i thought tamir cohen was poor again today On a brighter note thought Zak Knight had a good game though the closing down from the defence for there second goal was non existent...
Ani Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 he scored at burnley he did, i meant from open play......well i did nt but i do now !!
bwfcol Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 Gavin McCann might as well have stayed sat on the bench when Muamba came off. Ditto with Elmander
tylswhite Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 and we got caught out more than once down the left, with him giving the ball away up top. Dont know what game people were watching if they think Steinsson played well. His 1st half was one of the worst ive seen, Hunt would of been miles better and thats saying something!. Taylor was next worst missing sitters and running like he was pulling a truck. Steinnson did a couple of cruniching tackles second half but he was still dreadful, he cant pass to a white shirt. Anybody who thinks he played well needs to watch the game again.
Guest Frandsen08 Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 mccann must of committed 5 fouls before even touchin the ball, he is out
