Didledee Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 Let the team down today, he looks so nervous and has no confidence, 2 fantastic chances, the 1st he should fo scored but it went in to row z, then he should of brought down the ball and ran towards goal and score, but he shot when he had time and space?!?! why? His freekicks were woeful and that cross near end summed up his game. If we had someone else like Lee on the left side we would score more. Replace for Gardner me thinks. He's not a bad player but he's just poor atm.

Bobcat Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 He wasn't as bad as Steinson again thought Steinson did ok..... now what about McCann.....!!
grimmylh Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 thought Steinson did ok..... now what about McCann.....!! Agreed, thought Steinson did ok, McCann isnt worth talking about. We need a change in style instead of the Kevin Davies style. Getting boring
Gaz Nt Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 He wasn't as bad as Steinson again WTF? He was one of our better performers today!
tyldesley_white Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 thought Steinson did ok..... now what about McCann.....!! I thought is was a bit strange bring him on
buckhurstwhite Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 I thought is was a bit strange bring him on Aye I thought it was a bit odd, I slagged off Megson for doing the same against Hull, but different circusmstances, I dunno, very odd, but in OC we trust
jimmyjoojar Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 Fuck it, i'll bite. McCann is a far better footballer than Muamba.
snowball Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 Hopefully Owen will have learned a lot from today. CYL man of the match for us. Taylor absolutely awful, Steinsson did not have a good game for me either. Get Wednesday night out of the way and let's get up that table
Garrp Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 Watch the replay off the first goal. Not getting rid of it when he could again
Garrp Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 and we got caught out more than once down the left, with him giving the ball away up top.

Get Wednesday night out of the way and let's get up that table Jussi 6 Robinson 5 Cahill 6 Knight 6 Steinson 5 Muamba 5 Cohen 5 Taylor 5 Lee 7 Klasnic 6 Davies 6 Thought we competed pretty well against a world class side. I'm not passing any judgement till we get the Arsenal games out of the way. Anyone know the turn out today btw?
Casino Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 lcy had loads of ball loads did he create a chance? school report for today would read - flatters to deceive
MickyD Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 He got a bollocking off Jussi again in second half for allowing it to roll to Jussi and then clearing it when he realised Jussi wasn't coming; even though he could have done and it would have been the right move. I sometimes wonder if Jussi is adept at blaming his own failings on those around him.

grimmylh Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 Fuck it, i'll bite. McCann is a far better footballer than Muamba. Didnt say he wasnt, i think there both pretty poor. not prem standard
victor meldrew Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 Fuck it, i'll bite. McCann is a far better footballer than Muamba. CORRECT muamba is rubbish (i am being polite) he has no positional sense, cannot tackle or pass to a white shirt. he has 3 years premiership experience, so don't say give him a chance, the lad is just not good enough. mark davis is the future.
jimmyjoojar Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 and we got caught out more than once down the left, with him giving the ball away up top. I don't agree that Stenisson had a bad game, however I have got to agree that the full back pushing up beyond the winger is asking for trouble against Arsenal. Stenisson isn't good enough to get up and down against the best teams in the land, so of course he is going to get caught out!!
Smiffs Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 Fuck it, i'll bite. McCann is a far better footballer than Muamba. McCann was shite. Embarrasingly so. Slower than treacle and the touch of a rapist.
Smiffs Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 maybe the returning thousands are waiting a few weeks Cas, it boring now. Move on.

We've not kept a clean sheet all season this is down to two reason 1) individual mistakes fucking, fucking about with the ball instead of getting rid 2) consistently letting cross after cross come into the box from out wide he was guilty of both again today and the first one cost us a goal. If it had been Knight that did it, good god, this forum would be in meltdown Edited January 17, 2010 by Garrp
Werder barmen Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 (edited) i hope coyle has noticed taylor cant last 30mins... shoots from 25 yards when he was one on one...shows his legs have gone. mccan is the better passer than muamba but muamba is far better at defending Stenisson played them onside far to often... our crossing was poor today aswell..in keepers hand most of the match Edited January 17, 2010 by Werder barmen

Muamba can tackle, in fact that's one of his strong points, he's no Hierro granted but he's a good sitter McCann is a joke, he's way past PL standard and hopefully he doesn't feature too much from now on. As for Taylor, woeful finishing but I think he needs a couple of good games and a goal to get his confidence back

If it had been Knight that did it, good god, this forum would be in meltdown I would have said we had bigger issues on the left then the right, many a time Robinson was nowhere to be seen and it was Taylor filling in for him.
