January 22, 201016 yr I notice that Man City have 3 stars on their club badge and was wondering why. It turns out that they are purely decorative. I thought we could include 4 stars in our badge to represent our 4 F.A cup wins. I just think it would look good. Any views?

January 22, 201016 yr I was looking at the old badge just earlier today in the pub by some spooky coincidence (ok so its not that spooky). I did notice that most of the founders of the league still have the same badge as their original (or pretty close to) so why not just go back to that and be done with it?

January 22, 201016 yr Haha, no there are badges of all the founding members of the league in a frame above the vault bar in the Long Pull/Flea Pit/Old Original. To be honest, it is a decent badge and I would happily see the return of it.

January 22, 201016 yr While the club seem to be on a drive to get the fans back on side, maybe it's time to push the issue of the club badge again and get rid of that joke of a badge we have currently and get the old one reinstated. Maybe a topic to raise with Gartside at the fans forum.

January 23, 201016 yr As tyls will hopefully be able to confirm but Sam had all the new style badges replaced with the old badge in the changing room and all over Euxton training ground so come on Eddie let see our history return Thats true, he had a fantastic mural painted as well with all the past greats all wearing the proper badge....this ribbon shite was designed by Paul Fletcher, as he thought for some stupid reason that with a new stadium we needed a new badge for a new start...Mr Fletcher although one of our old boys is now back at Burnley...time to get rid of this embarasment....I have been told numourus times that it is now too late to change it back as the ribbon shite is on everything....but they have just listened to a big slice of "Fan Power" it cost a lot more to get rid of the cancer than it would to get our badge back....whoever on here will be at the fans forum, make sure you bring this matter up, even Eddie Davis's driver wears the old badge on his tie, and seeing that young Eddie is one of us at heart, I'm sure he feels the same way....you can not take away our history when they had the Elephant and Castle design on the knitted hats and scarves last year they could not keep them on the shelves, there is absolutely nothing in that club shop now that I could buy for the folks over here as everyone hates the ribbons
