the only thing thats annoying me about the new skin, is the fact that unread threads are not bold.

 

apart from that it gets a thumb up the bum from me.

One of the reasons why we have gone for soft pastle colours and you will also notice the lack of 'flags' is to it doesn't stick out like a sore thumb while you are viewing the site at work. We know that many read the site during the day and that bright colours and flags was drawing attention to your work mates or the boss.

 

the +/- on each post is related to how you feel the content is from a particular poster, this effects your 'reputation' which is in your profile. So by someone clicking the + your reputation goes up. On the flip side to this, if someone thinks you have posted completed bollocks and continue to do so, by clicking the - will put your reputation into negative figures. It can be switched off but we thought it may add to some quality posting, but then again we can only dream

I think some parts of the new deign are really good (the layout of the actual threads themselves is much better) as for the 'welcome' page it looks like it has been made in windows paint! As for the main forum overview page there's just to much of the same colour.

 

I'm not trying to offend anybody but I love this site and really want to see it move forward
