February 22, 201016 yr I am suggesting we start with Weiss and let him have the 70-80-90 minutes that truly ineffective players keep getting. The reason for this is because I have experience... experience of watching our team with these players in there and losing. Weiss has been the most effective player in the best youth team in the country for the past couple of years. I'm assuming you've built your opinion on extremely lightweight evidence from less than 30 minutes action. Our hardworking, experienced battlers have got 23 points with 10 games left! February 22, 201016 yr I think we will see Wilshire start next Saturday. 5 weeks in and Coyle is still seeing what the current squad can do. He played Gardner in central midfield against Spurs he played well so therefore kept him in for next game, that was a shitter of a pitch (as was Blackburn) and was difficult for any Central midfielder, probably more so for a player like Wilshire, so I can see why he hasn't been given more of a chance yet. Wednesday could be last chance saloon for players such as Gardner, Elmander, Chungy and Taylor establishing themselves as starters. Come Saturday changes will need to be made and I expect Coyle will make them. As for Wenger asking for Wilshire back, over reaction, he is getting more action with the brief cameo here than he was not even making the bench for Arsenal. Add the fact that as well as Coyle seeing what he had, not throwing wilshire on on a mud bath and sensibly easing him into action, Wilshire could well have an important part to play yet.

April 18, 201016 yr Well done OC for bringing in both Wilshire and Weiss. Weiss proved along with Taylor yesterday a match winner. And as for Wilshire he is our most consistent and gifted player getting more influential every game. Both of them have now played a major role in us avoiding relegation.
