And if he could, he wouldnt be at Bolton

A confidence player which means he's at the wrong club

To be fair, Wenger does groom lads from other clubs and pays top dollar for them. Their academy aint that prolific.

I dont suspect Jussi's shooting dribbling and crossing are up to much either

Aye and that Klasnic's tackling is shocking and he's a right lazy fucker how he ever made a top flight footballer is beyond me.

plus great positional sense, great tackling ablilty, great desire, great disclipline.

but we know, that great teccers are what you need!

I wonder what % of his shots hit the target?

Not that Mumaba is anywhere near his level but an inability to shoot never hindered Claude Makalele

I reckon he is one of the best ball winners in the prem. He breaks up play brilliantly.

He can't shoot for toffee and lacks composure on the ball.

Still a young lad with plenty to learn.

I wonder what % of his shots hit the target?

somewhere close to davies

in short, muamba aint our problem

I wonder what % of his shots hit the target?

he should be banned from shooting.

Barmy!

Muamba has been one of the plus points lately!!

He aint here to score the goals, to prevent them.

I'm no genius, or maybe I am. Surely if in training they roll lose balls out to him outside the box, his shooting must improve.

Granted he is there to prevent goals and not score them but it would be a massive bonus to his game.

isnt much to ask to get a shot on target :good:

not if its a confidence/mental thing.

anyone who has played at an reasonable level will tell you, that onces theres doubt in your head that you can actually do this, your fucked.

i reckon when muamba gets the ball in a shooting position, he's thinking (like the fans) "oh fuck, here we go"

Edited by HomerJay

he scored a cracker at doncaster in his first pre season

he missed an absolute sitter at united

i think he then fell over the ball on another occasion when even ian moores would've scored

its definitely in his heasd

one goal could make a massive difference, but then thats true for elmander, taylor and a few others

If he adds those attributes to his game, we will stuggle to keep hold of him. Needs to stick to what he does best for now.

I suggest you direct that at our strikers and attacking midfielders not Muamba.

Whoa whoa, you can't make accusations like that without adding 'allegedly'

I suggest you direct that at our strikers and attacking midfielders not Muamba.

you looked less than chuffed at 1.30 yesterday!

I expect ANY professional football player getting paid thousands a week to be able to occasionally get a shot on target.

No point constantly busting a gut to get in great positions to row z it every time.

Looks can be deceiving, like everyone else i was delighted with the 90mins we had just witnessed.

He's now hitting the corner flag instead of the side lines.

He has potential

:good: Well Stuart Pierce rates Muamba he's in the under 21's squad again along with Wilshere.
