London Family Hotels

thinking of going to london for a few days with her and 2 kids.

 

wont stay in a shit hotel but do not want to pay a fortune.

 

anyone got any suggestions?

said it worked well

Premier Inn at Tower Hill. stayed there for West Ham. On the circle and district lines.

 

leicester sq and all that shite 7 mins on't tube. Think Premier inn's have got deals on aint they Ian?

 

EDIT : Tower Bridge is literally 1 minute walk away from the hotel.

Premier Inns and Holiday Inn Express are all ok but the room gets a put-you-up bed in a corner. Not a great deal of room in them but, that said, it's only for kipping in.

Am sure you have this covered but if you don't stay absolutely central make sure the relevant tube lines are running that weekend. Particularly risky lines at weekends include Jubilee, Met, District and Circle.

Grafton next to Warren Street or the Mandarin opp Green Park are very nice. Although they might be on the expensive side for a family outing.

Found a great little Italian resaurant on the south side of Tower Bridge. Worth a visit if you like proper pizza.

Wembley? Take your pic of any hotel there. Nicely off the M40 and decent transport links, train and tube.
