The vast majority of those provoking the trouble were the ones running like girls after mouthing off. I saw it with my own eyes. Then the same ones were giving it large again at the fence near Tesco after the OB had pushed the Stokies back far enough away.

As I said in another thread, our youth are embarrassing & pathetic.

like you said the majority did do a runner, and yet again left the ones who didnt provoke it to deal with it, i just aint a fan of that corner just being labelled as knobs when there are fans who stand in that corner for the joys of the atmosphere like myself and my mates and a lot of other fans and im sure fellow WW posters.

NB included

From what I saw from the East Upper, once the Stokies got over the netting and within cockwaving distance of the yoof, they didn't know what to do either.

It's gutted me this, backing off isn't a option when confronted by nasty hooligans, if I go to a game and someone intimidates me after scaling netting to get to me I'm gonna defend myself and innocent bystanders. I'm not hard no, but thugs need to be stood up to. Anyone who spouted then backed off is a coward, I'd be having words the next time they take the piss out of away fans :(

Like Frandsen said, not everyone buggered off. There we're quite a few stayed. But yeh it's embarrassing when you get people mouthing off all game and running off at the slightest hint of trouble...

Your always going to get runners as a kid on the lever end I did my fair share, but never gave it the large one and then run, as you get older and gain experience you hold your bottle better, it is part of a passage to growing up, my message to the young uns is don't give it if your not going to stand your ground, leave it to the older lads until your brave enough, by all means sing and support and enjoy the atmosphere, there is no shame in that but, bigging yourself up and then running is shameful.

The sad part about the trouble is that it proved a distraction to the players and could have cost Bolton a goal and two points. It might also have been instrumental in Klasnic's second yellow card. If brain dead people want to cause trouble then go somewhere else where decent people are not going to become involved.

Said the same to Doris. After the goal, a football game broke out during the fighting and it was all a bit odd.

What suprised me was the club giving the whole South Stand to Stoke when they're noisy, lift their team, and over a season these games can end up being 6 pointers. With 5000 of them you know exactly what you're going to get with them. Imagine going down by a point to them when 5000 Stokies have roared them onto a point or win. nea.gif

From GMP/Security point of view, Stokies arn't the best behaved when in numbers yet they can have the whole stand. Utd can only have the lower tier. Both lot in numbers can be as bad as each other.

I'm sure they make it up as they go along.

Thats the difference with society nowadays im afraid. Most kids are shithouses and get away with allsorts because they pick on people who are defenceless. When it comes to people who fight back they end up shitting bricks.

course they will, the club will try and sell as many seats as possible even if it does give them an advantage. Money grabbing twats

anyone get it on video?

Im sure scum would of sold it out but they didnt let them have a full end. The police wont want that again and will probably have a word with the club for next season.

Is that not what commercial ventures try to do? I for one do not blame the club, 10,000 empty seats don't look good and lower crowds means less cash for transfers.

Totally agree with you there. DMBs get a reduced allocation for persistent standing. Stoke persistently stood yesterday. Wonder if they'll get a reduced allocation.

Aint gonna be seeing a football match facing that way.

no but you will see the coins that wer getting thrown.

and about that a coin came past straight my mates head looked down it was a ?2 coin. posh bastards.

The old 50p coin was a proper lump, and going back to the 80's was probably an equivalent value.

Then again in those days, folk threw dead rats, ham shanks, and golf balls too.

their did the same agianst westham few years ago and hibs fucking laughing stock

Why do people sit in that area near those chavs? if they only want to watch football.
