Horwich Posted December 18, 2020 Posted December 18, 2020 Would players rather not play if not getting paid? Quote
athywhite1958 Posted December 18, 2020 Posted December 18, 2020 Talking to some of our players and the manager on Tuesday at Runcorn they were so glad to be back playing, so a trip to Mossley tomorrow is in order Quote
Ghana White Posted December 18, 2020 Posted December 18, 2020 Watching stockton in the vase tomorrow. I don't think their league will kick off before March at best looking at the way clubs have voted against playing in tier 2 as well.. be some fixture pile up that Quote

athywhite1958 Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 I think we'll find out in the first week of January, personally I think they are going to scrap the season although I hope they don't, there is no way can teams play 3 games a week in winter which is what it would take to finish the season Quote
Horwich Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 No floodlights in the majority of the west lancs league and we got shit for cancelling the season 2 weeks ago. Crazy times Quote

What odds they bother now? Quote
Carlos Posted December 22, 2020 Posted December 22, 2020 I think that new Covid means we are done for, unfortunately, with wider Tier 4 looming. I saw Warrington, who somehow are T2, are in the top 30 at risk with T4. Too close to home, along with the usual suspects in Lancs. We are then in to mid-Jan. Your only hope is no rain and frost then 2 or 3 games a week with zero Covid outbreaks. Not happening is it. I agree with the West Lancs, gives everyone some certainty. We are done until next year. Shit as it may sound. The NPL talking about the integrity of the competition. Me, I'm more concerned about clubs and folk not dying. Quote
marple whites Posted December 22, 2020 Posted December 22, 2020 Stockport lost 4-0 tonight and had 2 sent off. such a shame........... Quote
