Non League Chatter

A few weeks away yet, but this could be the biggest attendance Victory Park have had for many a year with it being a title cruncher. Come on Chester beat those Leigh stealing body-snatchers.

A date for your diaries, on Saturday 4th July Atherton Collieries will play Bolton Wanderers, Neil Lennon has said he will bring a good squad down

  • I'm very fair and even handed on this one. I hate both sets of cunts.

  • Said nobody ever

because all weekend they have been saying Chorley where the instigators, the video tells the truth.

It was handbags. Stoke the Reebok was worse. Seen bigger brawls on Deansgate Manchester on a Saturday.

This video shows male dancing at its worst, just need some Benny Hill music to go with it.

Defo a few early knocks and the judge will send them for a week on Strictly Come Dancing.

I bumped into some Bolton lads on a stag-do in Chester on the day Leigh was in town, managed to drag a few down the Deva for the match. Some even turned up at Lancaster a few weeks later for a piss up, odd lot from Great Lever.

Dont even think about treading on our toes, when you play Leigh Genesis.

Coming to yours on the 19th, daft question, beer in the club pre-match?

Dead right, your are very welcome in the Clubhouse. We never run out of ale when Chester landed.

I'm at the Leyth v Skem game next Saturday up Athy if anyone fancies it.

Game has been switched to Skem because we're still sorting the drainage out at Costa del Crilly.

And no injury time cock ups from Leyth tonight either, 2-0 win at Mossley. Top notch pie and peas there and all, even if I did manage to de-tour via Holmfirth on the way back. This is what happens when I'm without leighwhite acting as a pissed up SatNav!

Athy Colls is your best option then, surely you don't want to give your money to plastic scousers :drinks:

Cracking ground Mossley.

Like you say nice local pies & a cracking view of the Pennines from the Main Stand side.

Skem getting a break there. They're playing well atm & could easily finish 2nd.

I read today that when Salford City played Atherton LR at Athy a dead rat was spotted behind the goal.

Fraid so R, will have to have a pint in the AA another day.

Went to Woodley Sports v Chorley last night, 2 nil up HT, two belting goals, played shite second half, ended up drawing 2-2.

We stood behind the goal with the others, lad loved all the singing etc. C! C! CFC!

Put Woodley in your book for next year Peebles, nice clubhouse and catering too, chip barms for tea. Wrasse didn't have the soup ;)

As was the one at Cliftonville, they are a million miles better than they used to be

Aye but I don't think the one at Woodley is a 3G one like at Cliftonville which was very good. It was almost like the real thing.

Radcliffe Boro v Clitheroe for me Satday.

Pies were a quid & pretty nice last time I visited (Mossley this season)

Mossley it is. :drinks:

Athy Colls game is off due to a waterlogged pitch, a few of us are still going on to watch the Bolton game.

Boro threw away a 2 0 lead to lose 3 2 to Clitheroe.

Wind & the slope a huge factor though.

?1 a hot dog for the wee girl is good value.

Decent pint of Holt's (smooth though).

Quite a few on the Colls today, a lot of pubs in Athy had the Munich V Pieheads on, made for a good atmosphere on't Colls. :good:

Went Skem, decent first half then went pair shaped after, losing 4-0.

Chorley didn't lose today.
