peebles Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 If any locals aren't doing anything tomorrow there is a game on at Athy Colls, they play Leek CSOB in the Division 1 cup, Colls are on a good run of late and playing some good football, last week they played a team called Norton from Stoke, fuck me they were just like Stoke City fans, wanting to fight every 2 minutes, we stuffed 'em though.  Good ale and hot food ? la pie & mushy peas, and of course beltin' company. Colls is still on my to do list after the AFC Liverpool postponement  Will let you know when I'm making the trip.  Thanks Casino for the sticky!!  PS All tickets have been sold apparently 4100 so get down to Atherton Colls for proper folk & proper footy. C86 Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 (edited) Kicked off before the match  Http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q-8vNLM4B2E  Spent most of the game with Peebles (I'll have my hipflask next time )  TBH Chorley didn't turn up, Chester where the better team.  Mossley away on the 12th is our next game followed by Leigh G at Athy the week after.  Non-League football is defo worth a look at IMO.  Forgot to mention, had chat over a pint with Biff in the club before the match, hope you got your seat Biff!!! Â Alternatively, Athy Colls are at home to Oldham Boro, a fixture which has proved very 'entertaining' previously, if the result away at Robin Park on Tuesday night goes to planned, Athy Colls wil be flying high in second place by next Saturday, lookiing at an automnatic promotion place.
