Do they have decent a club house with a bar that sell a decent pint and at "not daft" prices? Most of the ones listed do. :drinks:

Belting day out, reminds me of our 4th div days, without the violence :pardon:

Not seen a bad match all season in the "lower leagues".

Salford City v Chorley Fri

Blackburn away Sat

Day off Sunday (take wife out :nea: )

Chorley v Curzon Mon (or t'other way round)

chuck in a sportmans dinner on Fri night makes it a good weekend on the piss.

eagley has very decent prices

and a decent team

Then its on my list for us to do next season.

It's also about the day out, had some belters this season, Chorley away at Harrogate RA or Mossley, the land that time forgot

You've gotta do it, grass roots etc.

We always try and have a beer in the club houses at the matches we go to. Every bit helps.

I've done Eagley FC before aye.

Decent pint and Carrs pasties.

Main difference for me is most of the grounds have terracing and are fully enclosed. Most are owd so have retained character & I'm loving ticking off these hidden gems around the North of England tbh. Harrogate Railway Athletic's main stand with about 30 seats & the tardis like Portakabin bar at Trafford were great finds recently.

Real ale, non-league footy. I'll be bird spotting next.

Embracing middle age with relish.

Reet non league officionado's why have all my punk mates with previously no real football leanings started following FC United home and away?

Have they set themselves up as an attempt at an English St Pauli?

Not sure Frank.

I've seen stickers round Old Trafford with a ska theme.

It's probably all down to harking back to the bovver boy days a wee bit.

They're at Bradford Park Ave tonight in the play off semi. They slipped up on Monday to Kendal Town & lost home advantage.

I'd guess there'll be at least a thousand, maybe two, making the trip over the Pennines today.

Saw on my mates Fb page a pic of him and his band with a banner that read 'FC United Punk Football'

I may have to have a long discussion with him about the rights and wrongs of his choices.

Been on some cracking NL grounds this season watching Leigh get ripped apart. Rumour has it they might just call it a day and fold. I hope it is a rumour so i can continue having a cheap day out on all these wacky and weird grounds next season.

FC United got beat 1 0 at Colwyn Bay yesterday in their play off Final.

Chorley could join them in the Premier League next season, if they can beat AFC Fylde in the 1st Division Final on Friday night at Victory Park.

1515 on yesterday against Curzon Ashton. Crowd could hit 2k on Friday 7.45 ko.

Tried to talk football with the FCUM 'fan' last night may as well have talked to my socks.

Apparently he goes because they have 'a punk ethos' whatever the fuck that means. Until recently he had no real interest in football and didn't go to Colwyn Bay as "its a long way if they lose".

Not sure of the attendance tonight, but chorley played very well and looked good value for their win...........now bring on Chester again

Great win, can't wait to get down for a few games when the whites aren't playing. Attendance had to be 2k+.

Battle bus to Chester is already sorted. Loose lips sinks ships...
