February 2, 201511 yr Good point. I'm going, if Hilling shows her face I'll be clodding a pie at her. I'll make it for you.
February 2, 201511 yr Totally clueless. She wrote to BWFC asking them if they would let Horwich Vic Fc use their training pitches for our games ????????????????
February 8, 201511 yr A good hard fought 2-1 win against Barnton on Friday night, this put us top of the league, 2 points clear with 2 games in hand, Cammell Laird didn't play yesterday so we also get the psychological advantage for a week, Colne away next Saturday in the quarter final of the Men United cup Further news on the break in at the Colls, yesterday we were given a name of the person who did it, a 25 year old local lad Edited February 8, 201511 yr by athywhite1958
February 8, 201511 yr Hope he gets what's coming to him. For all the big wins this season, I reckon Friday was one of the best. Barnton weren't a bad side at all.
February 8, 201511 yr Barnton got a new manager and he has brought in some quality players, a couple with Football League experience, their centre half was our centre half last season and he had to be dragged away from one of our lads before they had even got changed, a bit of bad blood between two lads, thankfully it didn't carry on through the match
February 14, 201511 yr A great win at Colne today, 2-0 in the quarter final of the Men United cup, it could have been 4 or 5, our keeper made a fantastic penalty save, onwards and upwards, on Friday night we are at Barnton in the quarter final of the divisional cup

February 14, 201511 yr What's the rankings of these cups, in terms of importance? More important if you're still in than if you get knocked out. Same as FA Cup in that respect I guess.
February 14, 201511 yr Genius. But if you are still in 3 cups, Men United/League, Divisional and Lancs FA (?) then that doesn't apply.
February 14, 201511 yr Genius. But if you are still in 3 cups, Men United/League, Divisional and Lancs FA (?) then that doesn't apply.Lancs, League then Divisional in my mind. Think it's probably best to think in terms of the sides that enter each competition.
February 15, 201511 yr Personally I think Lancs cup, Men United then divisional, purely in order of prestige
February 20, 201511 yr Another great win for Colls tonight, 2-0 away at Barnton in the quarter final of the divisional cup, a crowd of around 140 with about 80 from Atherton, look forward to our Lancashire Cup semi final on Tuesday at Leyland against Clitheroe
February 22, 201511 yr Reet, we're going to the County Ground at Leyland on Tuesday night, is there a bar on? I know there's a pub up the road, The Gables, but is the bar open in the ground, I cannot seem to get a straight answer off anyone, we have a load of lads jumping on the Colls bandwagon and I don't want to see them not being able to get a drink
February 22, 201511 yr No bar any time I've been unless you get into the member's lounge. Bovril, tea and coffee is about it

See you Saturday. Edited February 23, 201511 yr by C86
February 23, 201511 yr Ta, looks like hip flasks all round, apparently there will be stewards on duty checking bags, C - see you Saturday
February 23, 201511 yr They can't check your coat pockets and all, be reet. Got a car full for tomorrow, looking forward to it. Up the Colls.
February 25, 201511 yr Colls were beaten by Clitheroe last night, 2-0, they were a very good well organised side, they also only had 10 men for nearly an hour, you could tell they were a couple of leagues higher than us, it was a good game with them only scoring in the last 10 minutes, the final V Chorley should be a good game. Onwards and upwards for us now, 2 more semi finals, the Hospital Cup and the league title to look forward to, at home on Saturday V Eccleshall
February 25, 201511 yr Different story if the chance that hit the inside of the post had bobbled in. That no. 7 that they had to treble up on, 17 years old. Fucking rapid! No public bar
