Superb win for the Whites today, much needed, on a lesser note Cammell Laird lost at AFC Darwen which means we [Colls] are 1 point behind them with 4 games in hand, we play Darwen at home on Monday night, we need 2 wins for promotion and 7 wins [out of 11] to win the league, that is providing the plastic scousers win all of their remaining games.

Lairds have been winging it with a few single goal victories since losing their top scorer (who looked like a lazy cunt) to Linnets. Piece of piss...

A good win again tonight, 4-1 against a capable Darwen side, 1-0 for them at half team after a poor first half, a Battersby hat-trick saw them off in the second half. We are now top of the league 2 points clear with 3 games in hand, 1 more win to guarantee promotion

Couple of our lot are going, hope you have a good day and will see you at the Holker game on Monday.

Mrs reckons I'm sad that I managed to recognise Runcorn Town's ground when flying in to Liverpool on Tuesday :)

Great day out in Runcorn, we won 1-0 to put us in the final V either Glossop or Bootle, I hope it's Glossop, the final is at Curzon Ashton in about 3 weeks time, we drank them out of cider, not a shock as it was only £1.50 a pint

Were you caught in the shower Carlos? We were a bit further along the touchline but got a bit nervy any time the ball came nearby.

Was close, but escaped unscathed. We were next to the bloke we shouts "Let's have another Colls" after every goal.

Chiggers won 6 - 0

Good play off chance

Any idea if they would be let into the conference or does the ground still require upgrading?

I know it used to be a rule in the Conference that, if you stood on the centre spot, then no grass verges within the ground could be in sight, so there would have to be quite a bit of work done on two sides of the ground.

The game was on up to an hour before KO, all of our players were there, some of them having finished work early, that pitch at Daisy Hill had around £40k spent on the drains last summer, paid for by Viridor, I would be looking for my money back, they haven't played on it since the beginning of March,
