Yeah, we go way back to the seventies. Steve`s a cracking bloke who comes back as much as he can. I remember seeing him at Wembley when we played Bristol City, he came all the way back here just for that game. He also has Franky Worthy`s shirt which Frank wore in the promotion game at Blackburn.

Yes he lent that shirt to Bolton Museum. Also saw him on a couple of European trips.

I remember him being on the same coach travelling up to Ayresome Park on a Friday night in the early 80s, we had around 100 fans there. There was a Boro fan taunting us all night and Steve, after the game, asked us to "hold the coach" while he had some business to tend to. After about 20 minutes he arrived back with a big dent in his horn, apparently that Boro fan wasn't so mouthy after Steve had finished with him...god bless the horn!
