Helter Skelter by Vincent Burgliosi goes some way to explaining how murderous tendencies are typically linked with parenthood, or lack of it and obviously child abuse. You would literally have to be mentally handicapped to play a game and then feel the urge to go and re-enact it in the street. In which case, is it the game or is it the lack of guidance or control over a disturbed person?

 

 

Agreed, and is in line with what I was trying to explain. We all have a moral compass and can differentiate between right and wrong. Most of us have grown up in stable loving families with no conception of the poverty some of these people have.

 

If you add video games into that mix, particularly with impressionable and desparate kids, you're going to get these incidents on an ever increasing spiral. The value of life is diluted by personal circumstances, a sense of unreality and also as a source of income.

Someone mentioned the Ross Kemp programmes. If you watch those you may get an insight into how these kids become the monsters they are. Murdering them too seems like the easiest option.

well i dont think you can say all teenagers who kill is down to their childhood. because if that was the case you could say heroin addicts all go on heroin because of something thats happened in their past too.
