I've got inter-island ferries in the past, cost about 40-50 euros return; it's a relatively cheap excursion and you get to see another island, plus you can spend a bit of time on the ocean waves - drinking and pretending to be a Somali pirate.

A few years since we went - but we enjoyed it, except for the attempted break-in to the apartment one night. Told by the hotel it was 'scousers' subsidising their holidays by robbing from the other Brits.

 

Loads of good restaurants. As others have said - nice boat trip to Lanazgrotty.

I got the worst sunburn ever in Lanzarote. I normally burn a little, then tan. The wind is deceptive. Laid out for one morning in the sun, by the evening I couldn't walk. Be really careful. Makes the heat more bearable though.

I bet it wasn't the first or last time you've laid down for a while and been unable to walk afterwards.

If you came on holiday with me you wouldn't be able to walk after an hour

Been 3 times, really nice area with a few lively bars but mostly nice restaurants and a chilled atmosthere. Get up to the sand dunes not much in a taxi, a few nudists lurking around if your into that?? Its worth hiring a car, and going to the water park, good day out. Enjoy.
