MickyD Posted May 6, 2011 Posted May 6, 2011 Will we though, I can understand people saying that Jussi and AlHabsi are "top keepers" but I'm not sure we've actually seen anything of Bogdan yet to warrant calling him a top keeper. Hasn't he only ever played about 6 or 7 professional games in his life? I'd imagine if he couldn't actually do the job someone may have noticed during his not-so-many games and in his most-days-and-therefore-often training sessions.
Sweep Posted May 6, 2011 Posted May 6, 2011 I'd imagine if he couldn't actually do the job someone may have noticed during his not-so-many games and in his most-days-and-therefore-often training sessions. I agree he must be able to "do a job" but as he's not played many games at a high level, I guess we don't know if he can handle the pressure or play with a high level of consistancy or not, which is was is needed to be successful in the PL. I would prefer to call him a prospect instead of suggesting that he is a "top keeper" because as of this moment in time, we really don't know one way or the other. I hope he is a good one, otherwise we're going to have to fork out a few million quid for another keeper in the next few years
