Think the match was beamed back to burnden due to lack of tickets same as the next round v derby In the league a win against Forest always stands out. Forest were the standout team in the league and we were just promoted. Even though it was at a time when we always won on a Sunday, forests obvious quality shone early on. However we dug in and came out the better side of a seven goal thriller.

October 21, 201114 yr The best from the White Hot years had to be Liverpool 2-0! Pretty amazing to think we Knocked the cup holders out(Liverpool & Arsenal) in consecutive years and not even be in the PL.

October 21, 201114 yr Citeh away (2005 iirc). They hit the woodwork 63 times before Richard Dunne decided to play basketball in his own box in stoppage time. Speed scored the pen for a very unlikely 1-0 win. :yahoo:
