Heard this at the time thought was a load of bollocks but no smoke without fire so who knows. I assume it happens across dressing rooms up and down the country on regular basis.

I completely agree its usually Knight or Davies and I did hear the rumour also but becasue of the reason above thought it wasn't true Knight is usually jumping to his defence doesnt stack up and this does happen at clubs but managers on players if a player gripped a manager by the throat then I'd imagine he'd never play again whilst he was in charge surely?
