But for 1 I said Premier League club. (I'll check out the 1979 Arse v Wed later). My answer is Stoke who played Bury in FA Cup in 1955 Fa Cup third round plus 4 replays, with 2 league matches postponed on the intervening weekends. (Bury had one match postponed but played on the other one.

January 15, 201214 yr 43? The following Monday my uncle is 97. He a geordie, and when he's feeling down he plays the video of Newcastle 5 Manure 0. He also told me a story of 1955 FA Cup, when Newcastle played at Forest at the same time that Notts County played Chelsea (no Sunday switches in those days). Some Newcastle fans came out of the station, followed the other black and white scarves, and were inside Meadow Lane ground before realising they were at the wrong match. So you were born in 1969? Oh dear, that's the year I started full-time work.
