The Fa Cup Quarter Final

next week (in my view) is a game we just do not need .

if and its a big if we beat qpr on saturday , it will bring renewed hope and optimism for staying up going into the blackburn , villa and wolves games .

last thing we need is a spurs away cup game thrown in the mix , for me , we throw the game , make 11 changes , get a slap on the wrist and a small fine .

i know some people will say ' yeah but what if we win etc etc' it just aint worth the risk of getting to a semi final against chelsea , getting d1cked and having a repeat of the end of last season .

A big call for Coyle but i know what my feelings are towards it .

From the horses mouth regarding the financial implications. Not that it matters cause we are staying up

"Plans in place". Not really conclusive on how long we can stay in the lower leagues, but thanks for the link to the all knowing BEN.

Edited for accuracy.

I imagine Spurs will be resting a few on Sat with Arsenal only a point behind, we could have a chance.

I wonder if Garty put that in the same folder as the Rivaldo fax?

If that article isn't conclusive what would you want Gartside to say to convince you?

I am aware of previous meetings with staff when relegation was a possiblity. It was prior to you rejoining the company though, Owen.

Having a contingency plan doesnt mean it will work. We probably had a lot of nice plans for this season but they have all gone tits up so if the relegation contingency plan goes the same way we could be in the shit.
