April 10, 201214 yr They'll only take money out if you have funds in and continue not to bet. If you've nowt in, don't worry

April 11, 201214 yr surely having no funds in doesn't stop them charging you seeing as you've registered a card with them?
April 11, 201214 yr Ring them up and tell them to fuck off Right off If they start getting really shirty, just cancel your card, then ring them back and call them a bunch of 3 legged, 6 fingered island dwelling retards. I certainly wouldn't be worrying about it.
April 11, 201214 yr I've got an account with them but not used it in months. Not had an email either. Cheeky fuckers had better not take money off my card.
April 11, 201214 yr Author Cancelled my account with them now. Surprised they didn't want me to keep my account with how useless I am at betting!
April 11, 201214 yr I've just had the same email and replied to them asking them to close my account down and explain why thet think sending this type of email out is a good idea....not expecting much of an answer, but we'll see. Garrp, it has got me thinking though... 1) Does having "dormant" accounts cause a problem, or are they just money grabbing? 2) If thousands of people decide to cancel their accounts, does this affect the worth of the company? (surely the more customers they have the more the company is worth?!?!) 3) Is ti just a way of trying to con folk into having just a little wager so they don't pay the ?10 per month bit? 4) Are they a bunch of fuck-monkeys who deserve a jiffy bag of my shit posting to them?
April 11, 201214 yr I've just wrote to them to tell them I am sadly now deceased and please dont take any money from me.
April 11, 201214 yr "Monthly fee deductions will only apply to exisiting funds and will never leave your account with a negative balance" They won't be charging your cards. I have done a little research into this and basically when the money is still in a betting account for a certain amount of time the goverment are entitled to claim it. This is why 188 Bet have put this into their terms and conditions so they can claim it before the goverment do. Worry not people.

April 11, 201214 yr I've had the same e-mail and didn't understand it but this thread has cleared it up for me..
April 11, 201214 yr Can you not just close your account? I tried to last night but there is no obvious way of doing it on the site. You can suspend your account but to actually close it I imagine would have to be done through customer services.
April 11, 201214 yr Author If you go on 'live chat' on their website, ask if you can delete your account once you get connected to someone. They should email confirmation once it's done. (site seems pretty busy at the moment).
April 11, 201214 yr Only use bet365 myself, and they paid to 5th in Irish grand national , ta very much, Never ever had a problem or unsolicited mail or shitty threats like that, and get the occasional free bet And the odds are a damned sight better than bet188
