Being Ill And Going To Work

Good idea or not? Is it better going to work ill as fook then going won or sitting it out like death warmed up, been in today suffering from deadly mon flu to be told oooh u look rough you look like shit etc etc, but now do I risk not going in tomoz cos I'm still rough, had a massive job to finish today which was a reason I'd stayed

You should lead the way

Be sure to wipe snot on all door handles.

Not a good idea if you're going to pass it on to colleagues who may take a 'little longer' to recover

So come on SJM, what was your decision?

I would rather go to work ill then stay up at home as I wouldnt get any peace

I think I have been off once in about 6 years

Nobody would notice if I am ill in the office anyway, im a cunt health or sick !

You can't win whatever you do. If you're off - you're skiving. If you're in - you're passing it around.

I'm in work, not as bad ad yesterday but it's an early dart anyways, thought perhaps best to show willing to be in, I'm relatively new

I had to come home this morning, woke up with a headache so took some painkillers and set off for work, going along crompton way, all went blurred and the most horrible pain in my head, came home and just slept most the morning, still feel grim now

coyles fault coyle out

at that age you should have been retired over 40 years ago

Migraine?

I'm never ill enough to warrant any days off work. In my entire 20 year working life I'll bet I've had no more than 5 days off. I must be naturally quite healthy. I've never even had flu, and I must be the only person I know who hasn't. With me working form home though, I've been known to have the odd skive and not get out of bed until 08:30 on occasion, which is quite pleasant though.

Not had a day off sick since 1990. Not because I've not been sick. But because I don't cry off at the the slightest thing. The majority of the british workforce have the backbone of a jellyfish. Feeling under the weather, headache, runny fooking nose - soft bastards!

If I had any respect or cared for my ex colleagues I would have gone into work unless dying. As i didnt i used to have a day off if my toes felt cold.

Comes down to if I care about them (or feel they care about me).

Wouldnt let a good lad/boss down but couldnt care less if they're arses!

Migraine?

dunno but it was fuckin horrible, about 10 co-codamel has cleared it
