Bolton 0 Crystal Palace 1

Even though yesterday was a decent performance and the tide seems to be turning,I think next week's game is trickier than people think. Palace have got some decent young fast players in their side and will have to be paid special attention.

For that reason, injuries permitting and not falling out with Coyle during the week,I'm going for the same side as yesterday with the exception of Marcus Alonso who has to be replaced by Stephen Warnock.

I predict 16,709 spectators to witness a very entertaining 3-3 draw, and Marvin Sordell to watch it in the Vulcan.

Neil Whatmore,Dusan Nikolic and Taddy Nowak for us,with Geoff Thomas managing a hat-trick on his deathbed.

I don't think our players are as bad as some are saying, I just think they want him sacking too.

how about a frozen turd in a Rubber Johnny??

Certainly easier to conceal ... although, in my experience, they defrost pretty quickly once concealed.

no idea how the performance will be but i predict,

we will concede shortly after half time

we'll score more than them.

Do we have stats on this? Or does it just feel like it always happens?

I think it might be my fault you know, every time I'm not at the match which is a lot recently I'll check the score around 4.05 or 5 minutes after HT and we always seem to concede.

I thought it very harsh to be kicked out. Surely a confiscation would suffice.

Was it made clear that taking a drink to the stands would lead to being kicked out? If so, rules are rules I suppose.

It seemed a bit odd how it was done really. I had a drink (wasnt even mine, someone passed it to me and I had the misfortune to be the one seen with it) and out of the corner of my eye I saw a steward legging it up the stairs to me. He told me Im not allowed to drink at my seat and took the bottle off me then left.

Im not too sure how long after that (I was admittedly hammered but not a complete dribbling mess) but it was at least a good few minutes, someone else came up and removed me and frog-marched me down and out to the waiting police. One of whom told me they hoped we were winning as they had a load of money on us, so at least she's happy today

2-1 Bolton, Eagles & KD for us, Benny Green for them.

Seems they're quite excited about getting away from London for the day. Dont blame them like...

Get ready for 90 minutes of the same song.

They're talking about being 3 down at half time at Reebok many years ago. Im sure that was a live Sky game, ground half empty, Claus Jensen on great form?

(Also interesting to see the £17 match ticket, wonder if the same price will be offered to us for the return fixture.)

Im an old man now

Seem to remember a mini pitch invasion at Palace on the opening day of the 98/99 season (season after we went down) after a 93rd minute equaliser from Arnur Gunlagusson. As he were running over to the Bolton fans, they were running towards him.

Cracking goal it was, think Deano got the other

they started an away day roll call three months before the game!

Keen that.

brilliant

It doesn't even make sense.

I miss this match

And dirty Leeds

My chat involved the police taking all my details and filming my face before telling me to leave the area. Annoying that you cant drink something they themselves sold to me but rules are rules I guess. It was similar at Hull the other week, you couldnt even go in view of the door that led to the seats with a drink in your hand. I dont know if they think the sight of grass sends people mental but its a bit daft!

Wont be happening again though, a lot of money down the drain for nowt

You lucky sod! I did the same at the Reebok a couple of years ago. Spent an hour in the cells under the east stand, 2hours at Bolton station and got a £260 fine!!

How do people not know that you cannot drink at your seat? Have they not been to the match, or more worringly not boozing, for the past 25 years?

I think everyone knows you cannot drink a pint in your seat at a football match.

My question was, is it the ruling/law across the land, and with no exceptions, that anyone found to be doing so is evicted from the ground.

I presume it's dependent on your attitude towards the steward or the stewards attitude.

We've been at aways and had a toot over whilst holding and the steward who has just said, can you go back under with them.

Having said that, I've usually been stood with big daft bastards who they probably don't want to argue with .
