October 17, 201213 yr An old one mate which is Breightmet based. Some may remember CCM Motorcycles where I worked on productionising their gearboxes for a while. The owner, Alan, had his wife, daughter and son working there. They took on a new design engineer from East London and, on the day he arrived, he was introduced to the design team plus the family. When introducing his family, he said "This is my wife Gayle, my daughter Raine and my son............." at which point, the cockney geezer piped up "Fack me, don't tell me e's called Sunny!" He didn't last too long I used to go to school with their son, Austin.

I recall that he worked for his dad's company and they supplied his bikes for motorX or similar biking style.
October 18, 201213 yr Author Yeah, well aside from missing the kids and flat hunting it's not too bad. When things are over, they're over and it's best to stop the fighting and concentrate on trying to be as good a parents as possible. Never easy, but I'm a lot happier already, the future looks hard work but in the long term at least there is a future I can look forward to. Don't know If anyone else has been through this, odd mix of guilt and relief.

Wet behind the ears when I knew him. Bumfluff tache. Alan was a ringer (apart from being fatter) for Boycie on Only Fools and Horses. Some serious orders for hybrids from the Canadian military when I was there. They also won the IOM 250cc TT with a bloke called Steve Tonkin riding and then hired a bloke called Niall McKenzie who went on to compete at the highest level in the 500cc GP's. Both good uns.

They say time is the healer, but tearing a steady line of willing women a new arse is decent medicine in the meantime.

I need to get some furniture shifted from Edinburgh to Crawley in the next three weeks. Is it best to just hire a van or get a removal company?

Gonzo is an expert in attaching matresses to car roofs, catch him quick though hes about to do porridge.
