Football has finished and now they've no programming for 2 hrs.

Two hours of selling tat to retards.

Decent looker presenting the tat tho

Have your remote controls brokunded?

You know it's time to finish off your can of stella and go to bed when this happens. Good camera guy at the Reebok though, not showing all the empty seats.

No, of course not.

I'm not watching it, I was merely commenting on ITV's shitness.

Holden's Haircut was embarrassed by it.

It's takes a special kind of imbecile to buy stuff from a tv shopping channel

Well normally if agree BUT I gets my Molton Brown stuff from QVC. You can get some bargains. Though I don't have to endure their presenters waffling, I just go direct to the website so does that make me a semi imbecile?

Take alook at Bid Up TV or QVC or any similar channel. Telephone call is around £1.50 + P&P at £7.50 and people reckon hey got a bargain at a tenner. IT WAS NINTEEN POUNDS YOU IMBECILES!

QVC is a free phone customer care or 10 pence per minute from a BT Land line.

As I said, it's good for Molton Brown & my mattress topper's from there.

My original one was too.

I believe it's also good for Yankee Cangles if you're into them.

Bid TV actually occasionally sold some stuff that wasn't too bad many years ago. On the odd occasion I flick past now it's always just utter shite. Those presenters must look at the script of what they've got to sell and just think, "Fuck me - how can I talk about that for 15 minutes?".

Some stupid cunts must still fork out nigh on £20 for 2 bottles of a perfum they've never heard of never mind actually smelled ... but at least they'll be pleased it only cost them £10 (because they'll have forgotten the cost of the call and the P&P :D ).

They're the only ones I could find which were almost completely allergen free. I can't believe you went for another brand, Daz you spaz :)

I'm not one of them wimps with allergies though. :blum:

I think that QVC is a very different thing to the likes of Price Drop and Bid-Up TV, the latter two tend to be for scutters

As NB says, QVC do some good deals for Molton Brown stuff (Mrs CWP like this) and they also have good deals on other decent branded stuff, also as NB says the cost of the calls is neither here nor there

The other channels seem to spend their time flogging £800 watches (from brands/manufacturers I've never heard of) for £35 as well as cheap perfume and pan sets. They also seems to have very ugly sales staff, high call costs and ridiculous P&P costs.

I also reckon that they make most of their sales after kicking out times at the pubs on a Friday and Saturday night...when pissed folk reckon that its a good idea to buy a new wok for £6

allergies my arse - attention seekers more like

Inventing problems to be 'solved' - it's bollocks.

A few years back, they tried introducing those machines that bound your suitcases up in pallet wrap at 8-10 Euros a pop. An associate of mine was joining the queue to get his done, I asked him how many times he'd flown/checked baggage - and how many times his suitcase had burst open. He'd flown hundreds of times, his suitcase had never burst open...

"So why do you think it's going to burst open today? A sixth-sense or because the machines there?"

Nearly half the queue (who overheard) and the lad fucked it off - I was so smug and pleased with myself :)

If you worked in Customs, they'd be the first bags you'd want to inspect.

Oh, I forgot to add, the sniffer-dogs, they found his 'merchandise' and he's now serving 8-10 years in a foreign chokey.
