Thing I like about it is the detail. Every bloke on the field is involved in every play. The stop start thing compliments my short attent

Sorry, attention span. See what I did there? Yes, the detail. When the analysts on the telly get into it, the key to why something has gone well or not barely ever depends on those who've got the ball. To understand what is happening, you really have to take your eyes off the ball.

I would like them to hurry the fuck up a bit more sometimes though and the last two minutes of each half take forever due to timeouts etc. Still, it's one of few sports I would get out of bed for.

How good did AP look this year?

I felt a bit of a plonker after writing him off.

Everyone knew he was going to run the ball but they still couldnt stop him.

He's a fucking beast. A lot to be said for the view that he is the best player in the league, in any position. Hope I'm able to get to Wembley to see him this year.

next year is going to be the year I get back into it - I felt dead old when I realised 20+ super bowls had last passed since I last watched it with any regularity

I need highlights shows and what not though, but will try to watch one match a weekend

when does it start again?

August is when the pre-season starts

the combine (big sports day) is in a couple of weeks

the draft is in April

As for highlights etc NFL.com is your friend.

theres so much video footage on there and analysis etc you could spend days on it,

Makes the premier league look like the TV controlled mess it is.

Seattle and Washington are two good teams to watch as a newcomer due to new quarterbacks who are blazing a trail and threatening to change the face of the whole thing a bit. Overall though, most teams have got someone well worth watching. Not as if all the best players end up at the best teams and the rest get has beens or never will bes like in soccerball. Peterson at Minnesota, they're pretty average, Johnson at Detroit is in a poor team, AJ Green at Cincinnati, Doug Martin at Tampa Bay, there are many others.

think am going to spend some time on NFL.com in the close season

last time I was into it - as said previously, the Bills were my team, and know went on to do 4 superbowl finals in a row, so def sticking with them

Sky will have NFL Total Access on over the spring/summer which will keep you up to date with the ins and outs at the different clubs.

Seems like only yesterday. Would love to go to another Super Bowl sometime in the future. I know not everyone is a fan, but it's by far the best sporting event I have ever been to.

From the outside looking in, American football seems to be all about the advertising and less about the sport.

I thought it was more about a day out than the game.

Like watching Bolton then.

Xactly

So, if the football was removed, would they still get the massive viewing figures?

C'mon Homer. Think.

Why change a habit?

Why change a habit?

Because the Vicar spunked on it?
