2013 Cheltenham Festival Tipping Comp.

Horwich ran this last year and I won it! :D

He hasn't the time to do it this year, so I'll do it if anyone's interested.

No fucking about with daft rules though, but we do need some rules!

1. One horse per race settled at Betfair SP.

2. Level 1pt stakes per horse to win or to place, or 0.5pts E/W

3. Cut off point for entries is 5 mins before scheduled start time of the 1st race.

4. Non-runners can, however, be replaced at any time before that particular race.

5. No other amendments allowed.

6. This is not an exhaustive list I reserve the right to add more!

7. My decision is final.

I'm not saying you're telling lies, but you only ever tell us about big wins after the event.

Experience tells me it's best to either put up or shut up.

Yes I have some big wins and some small wins and some big losses and small losses sorry for showing my happiness on here I will go and sit in my room and sulk like a cunt cos I had a 78-1 winner

If someone tells me how to put a pic up I will to say am not lying

You can attach the pic underneath the reply box.

  • Author

Nobody accused you of lying.

But you are aftertiming which is generally frowned upon.

On theye phone at moment don't think it's the same

Frown grown if I put every horse on The server would blow

On theye phone at moment don't think it's the same

Text it me if you still have my number :-) ha

I will put my next ones on, prince of pirates and swing bill

Anyone any ideas what the points are for on bet fair and if that are worth anything?

:D Fair enough!

That's why I don't post up every bet I have, winners or losers.

As for betfair points, the more points you have, the less commission you pay.

Over 7000 now so hopefully commission is small!!!!

You certainly won't find me posting up any winners after the event today :D

Reckon the bookies must have made plenty back today!

  • Author

You'd hope so, but not the case!

7,000 points gives you a 10% deduction off commission, so you now pay 4.5% instead of 5%.

Plus betfair take 15% off your tally every week.

Anyway, back to the matter in hand!
