Former Moss Side fireman and salt of the earth. He talks like this all the time. I first met him on an advanced first aid course and he just effed and jeffed all the way through it, despite the visiting instructor being an A&E nurse.

I personally think the BBBoC demand a rematch, if JT refuses then Jack gets the belts. Either that or a No contest. Obviously neither will happen.

Josh ain’t fighting at that weight again. Jack will be installed as no.1

He cant make the weight safely. Simple as that. he walks round town at 12 stone  and doesn’t look out of shape at all.

Caterall should be world champion. He’s not.
 

If he fights Ramirez or prograis for a vacant belt when josh moves up he will need to be even better than he was Saturday. That was josh at a fraction of his best and whilst caterall won he didn’t destroy him. Ramirez or prograis both tough fights and based on what I’ve seen , and I’m no expert just a casual fan, he would need to improve on that performance to beat either of those two IMO.

Josh may not have been at his best because of who was in front of him. Maybe Jack didn’t allow him to be at his best? Tactics make fights, Jack, who remember has had only 1 fight in 2 1/2 years, pulled out a performance like that might be a lot better then most people think

I’m not saying he didn’t perform well. Far from it. He was superb. But I think someone maybe on here said it. That was THE best jack caterall. It was the worst josh Taylor. It’s a real shame we won’t get to see it again. Imagine the arena that rematch could fill? Would set caterall up for life I imagine.  
 

I’ve watched every single one of Josh’s fights and that’s probably as bad as he’s ever performed as a pro. Take nothing away from caterall he was superb and that will of course have contributed massively. But IMO and it’s just an opinion the two other main factors in there were he was utterly weight drained (look at his eyes at the weigh in) and utter arrogance. He thought he could just walk through him and he couldn’t. 
massive wake up call for him I imagine and he needs to get rid of his trainer straight away. 
 

I’m a huge fanboy of josh Taylor. But I lost a lot of that after his bullshit press conferences on Saturday and subsequent silence.  He needs to come out and do the right thing and accept he didn’t win the fight having rewatched it and it was a bad decision. But I don’t think sadly that’s in his locker.

Theres no way he’s typed that! He’s done himself no favours here. 
 

What is sad is JT is now more well known because of this result, he got nothing like the credit/publicity he deserved when he first became undisputed champ.

How long does it take the BBoC to review an hour of fighting?

All they need do is re-watch 12 rounds and decide if the judges could possibly have missed things from the seat position they had.

The only sanction they have available is to suspend 1 or more of the judges. They’re not going to do that. It’s a futile exercise to try and appease those frothing at the mouth. 
 

the sport is corrupt. And the bboc is corrupt. They’re not going to take food off their own table. End of

rematch at a catch weight being spoken of. If I was catterall if it makes financial sense , which I suspect it would, do it and take the cash and then back to 140 for a title shot.
