August 17, 201313 yr November to April. Santana beach resort candolim We had 2 weeks and spends were 700 for the two of us eating out every meal. I love it!
August 17, 201313 yr I've been three times and stayed in Candolim, which is very good. Prices have gone up over the years, but you should be able to get wankered and fed every day for about £30 - that price will be a lot, lot less if you drink in some of the local bars like I tend to. If you get the chance, go to Mapusa for a day, you'll really enjoy it there and it's cheap as fuckery as its not really for tourists. Baga and Calengute are OK, but they've been over taken by the Russians a bit, and both resorts are a bit too loud for me if I'm honest. Traf might know somewhere else other than Candolim. Get over there, it's ace.
August 17, 201313 yr Author Be more specific I'm thinking March, whats the weather like, how longs the flight, 10 days - 3 weeks what Cost of eating out ale Give me detail, I wanna book something now it's in my mind
August 17, 201313 yr If you do eventually book for Candolim, let me know and I'll give you the names of some of the cheap local bars that are worth hunting out
August 17, 201313 yr Be more specific I'm thinking March, whats the weather like, how longs the flight, 10 days - 3 weeks what Cost of eating out ale Give me detail, I wanna book something now it's in my mind Match will be hot as fuckery, as it's only two months before the monsoons come in. Flight about 8 hours Ale, depending where you drink will vary between 20p and £1 - probably an average price would be about 60p for a bottle. If its spirits you're into, then they cost the best part of fuck all, you can get a Smirnoff and coke for about 70p~80p and that's a big measure Food, you can get a decent meal for about £3 or £4
August 17, 201313 yr 10 hour flight. About 35 degrees in Feb when we went every day. Candolim is great as you can go anywhere easily. Go north to anjuna and morjim beach. Get a taxi to the falls at dudsaghar day trips to old goa etc.
August 17, 201313 yr I used to work for a company that specialises in India. http://www.bestdealforyou.co.uk/india-visa.html Give them a ring and ask for Ste. Can give advise on travel/accommodation and will also sort out everything you need all in one place (visas etc)
August 18, 201313 yr Oh yeah visas are 90 quid each these days That's quite a good thing, as it tends to keep he peasants out - the VISA cost for the Russians has just gone up quite a lot as well, hopefully that will put a temporary slowdown on their mini invasion and ensure they don't completely over run the place in the near future
August 18, 201313 yr I'm going start of November, booked flights so far but that's it Wanted to do internal flights to Delhi and get taxi to taj mahal but looks like a massive pain in the arse so staying south Want to see a tiger and/or an elephant whilst I'm there Maybe a boat hotel Other than that am after suggestions and that

Charge you for taking photos though. Have a Sizzler from one of the beach huts, they're amazing and the kitchens are spotless. Enjoy it, its probably the best holiday I've ever had.

August 18, 201313 yr Maybe they have a showroom kitchen then. I went in and everything was gleaming. They could have spiked me though to be fair.
August 18, 201313 yr A evening down at Kola/Cola Beach sleeping in a tent, we always do this, it's great - cost is about £50 per couple and that includes taxi there and back evening meal and also breakfast. Last time we went, we also booked an evening on one of the rice boats, that was tremendous it cruised inland during the evening and then back again in the morning. Highly recommended.
August 18, 201313 yr Maybe they have a showroom kitchen then. I went in and everything was gleaming. They could have spiked me though to be fair. Some are good and some aren't so good - either way, the food is generally tremendous and very fresh.
August 18, 201313 yr The beach beggars are lovely too. Once you've bought from them and refuse to buy more. They usually come over and chat as they genuiney enjoy your company and are eager to learn slang. Take towels, old footy shirts and bic pens - luxuries to them.
August 18, 201313 yr Some are good and some aren't so good - either way, the food is generally tremendous and very fresh. This. One i went in had a kitchen in the sand covered by a tarpaulin at the back of the hut. Was a fucking superb meal though! Even had a cow wander by through the hut half way through
