Seems odd timing. For once, the players showed some emotion at full time and looked gutted, collapsed to the floor.

Is that the reaction of players who the next day would be planning to revolt against the manager?

Guessing we are talking player(s) not involved, so how much weight do they carry?

True or not I still can't think of a current player I would be upset to see leave

I'm well and truly stuck here! Yes the league position and performances are wank but how do we go from the 2nd half/3months of last season to this(nobody say Dawson because I don't buy that).

We are fast becoming another club like Forrest/wolves/Blackburn changing managers and for what? Just because we have spent some time in the top league we don't have the automatic right to be back there.

heard it from one, another poster on here had it confirmed by another. seems the whole team is unhappy

on another note  - I noticed some stats on the-wanderer.co.uk  re the 4-5-1   and 4-4-2 formations used since freedman's arrival

if we'd have played 4-4-2 all last season with the average points per game,we'd have finished 2nd

if we'd played 4-5-1 all last season with the average points per game we'd have finished 2nd bottom

now, didn't someone say gartside's relative was the club's statistician  -- she should show those stats to the hierarchy

we played 4-4-2 at blackburn

that worked out well, didn't it

its little to do with formations and lots to do with players doing basics

even yesterday

lee misses a fcuking sitter on the stroke of halftime

lee, eagles and ngog conspire to fcuk up a great chance round about the hour

beckford misses 2 one on ones

bogdan chucks one in his own net

knight misses a sitter in the last minute

these players are failing

and no amount of whinging and whining about formations and tactics excuses that

There is far too much over analysis going on here. Dougie Freedman left a spiritual home to chase the riches of a relatively long serving former PL club. He's receiving a salary that Palace could only dream of paying (this is before they got promoted). Why would he leave the comfort of his southern based home if it wasn't for a package that was too good to refuse. It's not difficult, just accept this guy is not for us. Oh and by the way take Lenny the Lion with you.

the players' confidence was high last season what's happened since may ? I can't get my head around it ?

That was only 2 or 3 though

If it's true and the players are revolting then they're all cnuts. I hate them all.

If freedman goes, which manager is going to take charge of a club that fucks off it's gaffer in under a year if results don't go well and where the players see their arses when they're dropped/don't like the formation/have to do more than 3 hours "work" a day? Who's going to want to take the job? No half decent boss, we'll end up with cockend after cockend.

Dougie should leave the troublemakers in reserves/loan them out to whoever and we pay their wage just to get them out of the club and replace them with some of the "ones for the future".

What's the point of signing players for the future if the manager who signs them hasn't got one at the club?

Today on SSN there was a stat I just caught a glance of. I'm sure it said there are only 2 championship managers who've been at a club longer than 2 years

It's just getting daft this.

Curious this rumour/story should come up now. There was definitely a hint of player unrest when the players were getting back into the coach at Brighton - before the reported abuse started.

What's right and what's wrong is a moot point when we're almost bottom of the Championship with 4 points and no wins. Something at the Reebok is badly wrong (and it's not the fans), so who's in charge and who's going to sort it out.

Christ this is getting deep

Bring on Tuesday when we can get back to blokes, grass and a bag of wind ffs

True or not I still can't think of a current player I would be upset to see leave

This. Fuck them all off especially if they're 'revolting'. I want to revolt against how fucking shite they are

they can all fuck off for me

Medo can stay tho

Medo can stay tho

through all of whats been going on, i've been able to come up with reasons for what freedman has been doing

not selecting medo has had me beat

tho he was awful at blackburn

He must be Dougies Muamba

tho he was awful at blackburn

He had had a couple of crap games

What's Pratley done so badly though?

If any of this is true I'd still back Dougie, the players can moan all they want but show some fucking spirit and passion on the pitch don't go thru the motions. A few of them seem to care but fuck me, go on the pitch and show the manager what you can do, not play like you don't give a fuck and hope the manager gets sacked. Get shut and play the fucking kids
