Diehards In Your Area.

I know the Bolton lot will mop up the vast amount of support, but what about the out lying area ? From being a kid on the service bus to Burnden, you always had loads in the South of the town from Astley, Walkden, L/H and Farnworth . Since moving to Leigh over 25 years ago, you still get a big following from Atherton and Tyldesley.

One or two get off the train with me at Salford Central...unless there are more but they're not wearing colours.

It'd be interesting to know how many are tuned in during the game or need to know the score as soon as possible after full time. Many times more than are at the game I'll wager.

I had to go to Piccadilly before the Hull home game to pick up my mates season ticket at his work and it was a pleasant surprise to see how many BWFC fans were getting on there. Of course dickhead here had left his car at Atherton so had to change trains at Crescent where a few more got on Reebok bound.

Good number of Bolton over in Darwen especially in the park pub in the Whitehall area of town. Often see Peter nicko & Mark Patterson in there

Don't know the Park in Darwen, is it anywhere near the Parrrrk?

Went to college with des in the 80's funnilly enough we were decorators. He used to go round with Blackburn youth. Saw him at a few Bolton games, he seemed to know a few of the lads!!

what is the reason for people supporting Bolton on this thread, used to live in Bolton and move away? family ties?

Dropped on my head as a baby

I think a few of the younger L/H lads knew him, pretty sure he came to one of the Swansea away games ( last game of the season) with us. Did he have a mate called Broddy????????? met him a few times and he even turned up at a family wedding????

Saw him at Coventry in fa cup on the train to witton Albion & Oldham at home in cup. Think is mate was Jeff brogan who died a few years back. Good laugh was des.

Think I might be the only one in Royton (how do I change my profile name?), unless anybody knows different, though I did see a lad and his dad who'd been to a match in our local Tesco one Saturday night a bit back

Stevie Taylor was a Royton lad, banged in some goals for the whites, have you got anymore talent like that in the area ?

A friend of mine lives in Chadderton, doesn't go to many games cos he plays on a Satdy though. He reckons there are one or two more Wanderers around there.

He was a good 'un for sure, we could well do with his sort now. Tony Philiskirk's lad's a good prospect at Latics by all account

Nice one, will keep my eyes peeled, might have to look extra hard at the minute mind!
