OK, so the last time I had chips and gravy that I can recall was the day of the Good Friday agreement, but, fucking hell - I had a cod barm down Darcy Lever for 50p more t'other day.

Nah, I walk past everday, so will settle up at some point.

 

Unless I have a purpose for having cash I don't bother carrying more than £10 or so, and I'd already been to the supermarket so...

It's no go on the WHoopsies! these days - certain types hang around the place waiting to swoop as soon as stuff is reduced, they even work in teams to have piss-breaks (in the toilets I hope) - I'm as thin as a lat these days due to their antics

 

Nah, I spent most of my cash on some booze and didn't anticipate a sudden craving for a chippy tea....

 

Nor did I think chips and gravy would cost more than the £1.60 I had in pocket change.

My card is fucked for use at the self service card readers...Works fine at the manned tills, however those Walmart scumbags have all but made every till self service at the hellhole at Burnden.

Asda is a truly awful supermarket whatever the location. I can't imagine how bad the one at Burnden is like.

It is hell on earth NB, but the nearest supermarket to me - I've left baskets on the checkout in the past due to not wanting to go into a kill crazy rampage, even looking up to the photos of our yesteryears, including a good photo of Sir Nat and Bill Ridding, having a good old fashioned man-hug doesnt lighten my mood.

They don't do gravy in my local chippy - they do oxtail soup though instead, which is a bit odd

Had a Craster kipper stottie ( although i correctly ordered it as a barm) next to Craster harbour on Saturday. £3.50. I belched all the way to Dunstanburgh.
