i'm not sure what you mean, but its the total gate receipts divided by total attendance

 

remember, the majority of attendees have season tickets

 

then theres the ten quid tickets, of which the club only get, i think, 6 quid

 

junior season tickets are about 3 quid a game

 

 

not sure if theres some clever accounting re LOV types, where some will go to gate receipts and some will go to corportae

Do we think Phil is the highest paid director? I assume that he is, £408k total package for the year isn't to shabby. Down from £858k in 2012 though. would like to know how it compares to other chairmen in the league

Oyston is obviously a bellend and that £11m figure will most likely be a one off if compared to all the other teams in the leagues.

 

Fwiw ive nothing against Gartside being paid £330k basic with the rest in pension contributions and other benefits (if he is the highest paid director)he is worth like all us employed folk what his boss thinks he is worth.

 

I don't think he does a bad job, yes he has probably made mistakes with some players contracts and what they were being paid but on the other hand he signed off deals to bring in players like Diouf, Anelka, Djorkaeff, Okocha etc etc.

 

He seems to get nailed for the bad deals but no credit for the better deals, unfair in my opinion 

The fact he was at the helm during the most successful period in the clubs history is good enough for me.

 

Like with a lot of clubs our size,it couldn't last.

 

We were always going to have to back to earth at some point.

 

We aren't big enough to sustain that kind of succes.

 

See Wigan,boro,Fulham,Blackburn etc for other examples. All similar sozed clubs and all had a dabble with glory but sheer club size always catches up eventually.

 

There's not a chairman in the land would have stopped our fall from grace.

 

We will be back,just maybe not as quick as folk think.
