Yeah we did shit loads of spying for all these specific reasons... but it had no bearing over our preparation. Honest.

 

They were saying they specifically prepared for playing Oxford knowing they'd be playing 5 at the back (or was is it 4), they'd just got Craig Short as caretaker boss and weren't sure what formation he'd play.  So they made sure, then set up to play against that formation.

It would have been interesting if Oxford had gone down by the 2 points dropped that day - it would have been another load of appeals, fines and hefty compensation payments, potentially.
