Why do bolton fans go watching shit premier league teams?

Featured Replies

Because my best mate works for Heineken, he has corporate tickets which he's offered me to take my father in law, who happens to be a city fan.

Not like I've suddenly though fuck it, I'll go to the Ethiad today

You should watch it in Hogwarts, like a proper fan.

Why do bolton fans go watching shit premier league teams?

There's quite a few Bolton fans watch shit non league teams even when Bolton are playing. Can't quite get my head round that one.

This.

There's quite a few Bolton fans who can't even be arsed watching Bolton

Because they aren't contributing to our club

Then probably moan that we don't have money to spend?

I dunno, but

One club for me - BWFC

Exactly this Rembrandt, sorry it's Bolton or nothing for me, can sort of understand watching another non league team if we're away and I'm not travelling. Each to their own though but it's not for me.

If a fan has bought a season ticket, and still buys BWFC merchandise, there's no reason he has to be a masochist too and watch shit football (as per Dougie F). Each to their own.

like you say each to their own but something tells me when your team and clubs is on its arse that's when fans are needed most not just financially but in person backing vocally and showing support and solidarity.

Vocal person backing for a shit team never has and never will resolve fundamental problems which are the Board's responsibility. That goes for any club. So we'll have to agree to disagree.

Yes we will. Read your post earlier saying you not been well, hope you get better soon.

Yesterday was another reason why supporting Bolton is so special, watching your "Own" team a few drinks with good friends and seeing us play like we did.

I have read every report,   rewatched the game over and over again and struggled to remove this inane grin off my face.

If for any reason BWFC ceased to exist I would lose all interest in football nothing or no one could fill the void.
