frank_spencer Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 The footy has been shit this weekend and the NFL has been brilliant. the end of the Packers and Cardinals was unbelieveable and the start of this Panthers V Seahawks has been non stop Quote

Traf Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 I cant see past a denver win in that one Hope so. Also hope it's more of a game than this one. Shitehawks getting raped. Quote
frank_spencer Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 Would you sit Newton for the 2nd half keep him healthy for Arizona? Quote
Traf Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 Would you sit Newton for the 2nd half keep him healthy for Arizona? No, I hope he gets injured. #massivebellend Quote
Traf Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 2 minutes to play, Denver leads 20-13 in a tight affair Quote
Members bolty58 Posted January 18, 2016 Members Posted January 18, 2016 As Frank says, that ending in the Packers game was extraordinary. The Pack over achieved with what they had available to them. Hopefully, the injury list will be kinder to them next season. Glad the Bronco's won as I had them in a win double with the Pats. Should be another great showdown between Manning and Brady next week! I hope they beat each other to a pulp and leave the winner a sitting target for the magnificent Cam Newton. I have not enjoyed watching anyone play in the NFL as much as him this season (and that includes the entire Packer roster - may have been different if Jordy Nelson had stayed healthy). Not only fearless and brilliant but a hell of a nice bloke too. Now the Packers are out it's Panthers all the way for me. Overall, the NFL games have been fantastic this weekend. That comeback by Russell Wilson was almost an all time highlight. Quote
frank_spencer Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 Pats will stomp all over denver. Newton is a highly entertaining player to watch. And he seems to permanently have a big grin on his face Quote

frank_spencer Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Didn't see the game as I was out drinking but how on earth did the Broncos beat the patriots? If the winner of the superbowl isn't whoever wins the NFC I'll be amazed. Quote

If the winner of the superbowl isn't whoever wins the NFC I'll be amazed. Broncos defence was brilliant. Pats missed a simple PAT early on, resulting in them having to go for a 2pt conversion late on. Fuck Brady, the cheating cunt. Quote
frank_spencer Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Saw the result and my immediate reaction was, Ha fuck you Brady! The Panthers should win the whole thing now, too much for arizona to do to win this game. Quote
Traf Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Broncos defence hit Brady 19 times tonight! Von Miller was unbelievably good. Quote
frank_spencer Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Going to have to be as good again to stop Cam and company Quote
Traf Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Going to have to be as good again to stop Cam and company Not sure that even a repeat effort would be enough. Quote
Site Supporter Spider Posted January 25, 2016 Site Supporter Posted January 25, 2016 Cam Newton is on another planet. He was handing off 20+ stone defenders last night Can't see even the Brocos defence coping with him, and they were immense against the Brady bunch last night. Quote
tyldesley_white Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Got to remember Newton is nearly 18 stones himself (250lb) he's a big lad Quote
Members bolty58 Posted January 27, 2016 Members Posted January 27, 2016 Having cleaned up on the Panthers again at the weekend (in a double with Sevilla) I was tempted to unload on them in the big dance. Not enamoured by 1.50 though! Quote
Site Supporter Spider Posted February 7, 2016 Site Supporter Posted February 7, 2016 Super Bowl 50 Who's in? Newton first touchdown is where the smart money is Quote

Site Supporter Spider Posted February 7, 2016 Site Supporter Posted February 7, 2016 I was due to go to an NFL party but need to be on the road at 6am, so am out. The main problem with the NFL is the shortness of the season. Quote
