Need a new boiler thinking of going for a combi boiler anyone got any good plumbing contacts?

No, it was easier with a lit candle underneath otherwise i only had one hand available.

 

The skin grafts were a small price to pay to keep costs at a minimum IMO.

British gas are fucking con men re new boilers. Bradshaw's did mine at half the price, for the same boiler.

Worcester Green star. Been great. The wife does have a habit of putting the washing machine on just as I get in the shower though. Makes you jump!

British Gad quoted me £5000 - got it done eventually for £2400

There must be 1000's of people who don't go on the internet or shop around for stuff like this.  I'd been a British Gas Customer for years and they quoted me £4.5K for a new boiler.  They got told exactly where to go and I also switched suppliers within the week.
