November 3, 20169 yr The councillor probably knows fuck all but thinks he knows Probably. But you never know; if the law can derail brexit then perhaps it can stop a cycle track.
November 3, 20169 yr It may be a technicality on land ownership such as not completed a certificate of ownership correclty.
November 3, 20169 yr It may be a technicality on land ownership such as not completed a certificate of ownership correclty. But that isn't what the councillor is saying, he's saying that the full council should have the final vote Ownership of land doesn't seem to be the issue
November 3, 20169 yr But that isn't what the councillor is saying, he's saying that the full council should have the final vote Ownership of land doesn't seem to be the issue So how do you see it; has he got a point or is it pissing in the wind?
November 3, 20169 yr So how do you see it; has he got a point or is it pissing in the wind?i would say pissing in the wind to an extent. As I understand it the application has gone through the right procedure and the planning committee are the ones who decide it Planning committees are in place to do that and elected going through the proper process (regardless of what I think of them) in the same way there are licensing committees or whatever As I've said earlier there may well be a vote that decides whether or not it goes ahead eventually Generally councillors know fuck all about planning law and should leave it to the experts
November 3, 20169 yr Isn't there an issue with the covenant of the land? Charity commission and council seem to be hand in glove, so doesn't this bring a conflict of interests? The local councillor, no matter what he wants or thinks, should be championing whatever objections the locals have. He's not. And what sort of tinpot fucking cycle track/velodrome are you going to get for £800k? And it's not going to be big enough to fully satisfy Sport Englands requirements. It's all a vanity project for the corrupt cunts.
November 3, 20169 yr I'm more interested about the possibility of the conflict of interest with the council and this charity commission, or whatever it's called. Basically a bloke down at the town hall sends a letter to himself asking for permission to go ahead with this project. Doesn't look right no matter which way I look at it.

November 3, 20169 yr So why not build it bigger? It's leaves less grass for the dogs to shit on. Win win. ???? I wouldn't have a problem if they were going to build a fracking plant. That would benefit the whole town, never mind the area. Who would want to oppose that?
November 3, 20169 yr I wouldn't have a problem if they were going to build a fracking plant. That would benefit the whole town, never mind the area. Who would want to oppose that? Exactly. The stetson shop in htown that opened as soon fracking got the green light to crack on recompense landowners is doing a roaring trade. Yeeeefuckinghaaa cowboy! We keep the gas fire on full all day every day now as its litetally pissing out of the ground and the rich whitey racists up foxholes are rumoured to be building some kind of concrete chamber.
December 1, 20169 yr Its going elsewhere apparently- well according to fat cliff last night. Another site in Breightmet?
December 1, 20169 yr Next instalment from the local scutters There's never any investment in the area
